Much better than the first. They clearly heard the criticism. Still, doesn't wow me. 

It looks alright.  Still too much flash and bang.  And does the Enterprise get blown up again?  Geez.

Enterprise gets destroyed yes. Lin said it was his idea. When JJ first spoke to him about taking on the job he asked him to pitch a "bold idea" and Lin said blow up the ship. Bold. Hmmmmm. Anyway....hopefully it ends with us seeing a new better enterprise closer to TMP. 

You might also notice from the trailer what appears to be an NX ship similar to the Enterprise tv show.

According to Birth.Movies.Death, Hiddelston is in talks to take over the role of James Bond.

I'd like to see them stick with the young Bond vein they started out with using Craig.

Craig is 48.  Hiddelstone is 35.

Well yeah even im younger...okay tied but Casino he was like rookie 007 but I since we got new Fiennes I guess we have to continue from where they are now.

I think Elba is too old at this point and would be more of a choice due to picking a black bond then picking the best bond. He's a good actor with great presence but I don't see it. 

Fassbender was always my top pick, but I'll take Hiddlestone.  Would have liked Elba as well, but like you said, he's getting a bit old so he'd only be able to do a couple.  Plus Hiddlestone actually has that suave, debonair look to him.  Like he's so sure of himself, which is what I like Bond to be.

Stories breaking of Star Wars: Rogue One undergoing  massive re-shoots.  The official word is its normal tweaks but some reports are saying its actually half the film that is being re-shot over six weeks.  The action is reportedly all great but the character and tone are all wrong.

Film opens in December so timing is an issue...

Sure but why not make a good one?  Oh yeah cause Kevin Smith can't write.  God only knows how he lucked into Chasing Amy.  He should have quit then and there.

He can write, just a narrow scope of things and since he really went heavy into the pot he started doing some weird stuff.

I enjoyed Warcraft.  I hope they make enough to continue the series.  It wasn't epic, but it was an enjoyable movie.  Every once in a while I felt like I was back in the game.  The lore is quite interesting for me, although I've never read the books.

I am curious to check it out but the first war was a bit light on story anyway, I would much rather see a movie focussed on Arthas cause that's a good story

I think he can write like a million high school creative writing class students can write.  Even his best films are really rough and amateurish in many ways.  He's definitely a guy who is vastly over-rated.
