Game 2, the good game, here's hoping Matt Walter takes over and runs through the Rider ham defense, at least if I heard those reports right about John Cornish sitting this one.

 

I think the Stampeders should activate Charleston Hughes at game time for this one, that way the Rider O-line gets vandalized.

Well I dunno which specific charity the CFL is associated with but one of those breast cancer foundations is actually worse than cancer. Something stupid like only 10% of their funds raised go to fighting cancer, the rest goes into the hands of the people running the charity. That's a real bullshit way to run a charitable organization.

Well, my hope is at least the Als don't join them in that regard.  It's just silly though how many games that Redblacks defense has kept them in that their putrid offense can't capitalize on.

 

My biggest beef with that is (if people could understand) that that Redblacks coaching staff is unwilling to try something new to fix that.  And apart from that one onside punt attempt they pulled against the Riders, they've been unwilling to gamble.  I just don't see how fans in that city can be happy about that.

To be honest, It would be pretty cool to see the opening ceremonies in Ottawa today, Should be quite something. I'm curious if those of us living in Winnipeg will even be able too tho. There is a Jets game on TSN 3 tonight, or TSN winnipeg really, Probably means the other TSN channels aren't authorized. I don't know when this happened but noticed it last week too, The other TSN channels are blacked out, not authorized it says. It's too bad cuz last week i was actually hoping to catch some of the football game, even while the Jets were on too, but i couldn't. First time i noticed i couldn't watch the other TSN Channels actually. To this day, some still say "not authorized". Prior to last week, they all were available to watch.

 

Pretty BS move by  TSN actually.

MTS gets all 5 in the basic package. For Shaw you need the sports package to get TSN 1, 4, and 5. TSN 3 is Jets regional broadcaster and TSN 2 is the national alternate channel. Basically you need to get the sports package with Shaw.

Red Blacks fans are patient becaus it's an expansion team. And tonight, right now, I'm Impressed that Jets fans remain patient. Campbell will continue with a long leash. I'm guessing the RB's are making money, none the less. Less urgency to change when profitable.
