October 4, 201411 yr Collaros against the BC D will be interesting to watch...or not. I think BC has the best D in the league right now. Based on recent games, I see BC or Edmonton coming out of the West.

Based on recent games, I see BC or Edmonton coming out of the West. I still think Calgary is tops in the west provided Cornish and BLM are healthy... but will they be? That's the real question.

Whether it's health or attitude related, Cornish has been inconsistent this year. The Calgary team we saw last night won't make it out of the West.
October 4, 201411 yr I honestly think the Stamps D got complacent and started playing really soft in coverage. Couple big plays later and momentum swung. They've got another gear.
October 4, 201411 yr Don't pay any attention to last nights 4th Q. The first 3 quarters is the real Stamps. They just took their foot off.

October 4, 201411 yr Paredes also missed 3 fgs so that game last night was closer than it actually should have been.
October 5, 201411 yr Almost halftime. Some good plays by both teams - pretty good, albeit low scoring, game so far.

Whether it's health or attitude related, Cornish has been inconsistent this year. The Calgary team we saw last night won't make it out of the West. Only on pace for 2100 yards over 18 games. Could hit 3000 if he ever found consistency. He's only touched the ball 20 times once this season too.

October 5, 201411 yr It's a shame we're crapping the bed cause BC is giving us every chance to catch them. Montreal just might be able to beat us both out for that last spot.
October 5, 201411 yr West sucks. Scrap the division format. LOL...yea the one division discussion sure has died off lately!
October 5, 201411 yr Leos look very beatable. Their vaunted d just took a hit with Ronnie Yell one of their best dbs looking like he's done and with Harris gone, they're hurting bad. They do have a gimme coming to town with the RedB'S up next, but after that it gets tough. I'd say we have the tougher grind but the door is still open a crack. Pull it together O'Shea, were still in it...by a thread.
October 5, 201411 yr So the playoffs are still possible if can win 2 of the last 4. And I can win the 649 Lottery if I buy a ticket- the odds are roughly the same.

October 5, 201411 yr Amazing what happens actually, earlier in the year the eastern teams like hamilton and toronto were dealing with injuries to key players, those teams are pretty damn good when healthy, toronto is a force when healthy, hamilton is pretty decent too, They are the cream of the crap out east for sure. Now? THe western teams are dealing with some injuries to key players, all of the western teams really... Calgary with BLM and Cornish, Edmonton is relatively healthy actually, Sask with Durant, I'm not going to count Lulay cuz he never started the season but Harris and Yell out in bc, Wpg/ well.. where to start really. What this shows a bit is if people don't think losing your number 1 receiver is a big deal, look at the argos, without owens they suck, with owens, they don't suck at all, they are quite good actually. Losing Moore has really hurt us.
