Boomer spells Rod Black

What an oasis of relief to have Saunders and Berman commentate some plays in the Hamilton game. Also fun to watch: Kent Austin being pelted by mini-footballs and screaming at the fans.

And Ray passing for........ 2 yards in the first half

*Edit*.....and of course after I post this Ray gets close to 70 yards lol

ray pretty much picked up 90 yards there on that last drive :P

Berman and Saunders were much better than black and forde.

Just tuning in ... Collaros 14/18 for 178 and 1 TD? Ray 7/16 for 64 yards at halftime? Did Collaros and Ray switch uniforms?

Wish I'd caught the Berman bits. The commentators on NFL broadcasts are so much better than the ones on CFL broadcasts.

Ray has had i'd say about 5 pretty blatant drops... Also the hamilton D showed up to play in the first quarter more specifically but RAY has not been getting any help at all with the drops.

Duane Forde misses the obvious incomplete pass. Yay

They should give Rod Black his own segment called "Rod Black's Tea Party".  The premise is Rod Black can talk with guests at length about anything he likes while completely ignoring the play on the field below.  Duane Forde can be his "Ed McMahon" side-kick, stunned into silence but nodding approvingly.

punt, punt, punt.

Damn, the CFL East has been awful this year.  Just terrible football to watch.  The biggest plays in the third quarter were the regular 15-yard no yards calls.

wow nice black, AND 50 K FOR RICKY RAY

Must have thought of that all by himself...

THis is definitely not a labour day classic that's for sure.

In his spare time Rod Black writes poetry and watches figure skating.

Let's not let Rod Black and TSN's obsession with the "game story" ruin a terrific achievement.

Ray is one of the best ever, congratulations to him on that milestone and now let's get back to the game.

Good lord. This Ti-Cat offense couldn't close out a Zellers.

Duane Ford, you did not just say "marking their territory at Tim Horton's Field."

Good to see the Ti-Cats win, the East is slowly improving, no gimmee games left for the BB except in Ottawa.

Tim Horton's Field looks like Winnipeg Stadium circa. 1964.

1-0 at TIM HORTONS FIELD... what an observation by black.

the east had to win, they were playing each other, this was a crap game and a western team would have destroyed both those teams today. The east ain't getting better, they are the same, they are just playing themselves now.

13-12 crap game.

The two teams fought hard, but in the end Toronto managed to escape with the loss.

After watching that thrilling game yesterday, this one was definitely on a level with…well with the play by play calling of this game…sub-par.

My only regret for this game game was that the Ti-Cats won spoiling my chances of seeing Austin fling his headset aside. (not that would ever happen)

I still say the best part of the whole game was Austin shaking his fist at the Hamilton fans while yellow footballs rained down all around him. Hilarious!!

Sure wish we had the calm and collected Austin instead of a hot head ready to fly off the handle over nothing like O'Shea.

Not sure what he was upset about but TSN showed O'Shea blowing a gasket at least once yesterday.

Yeah, but there were suggestions going into the season that O'Shea would blow up at a moment's notice and it is far from common.

Kent Austin would make headlines if he goes one game without throwing a fit and/or tearing into his quarterbacks.

Thought it was hilarious that Black continued to forget that Saunders is Canadian and knew the game up here.

"Build it and they will play...  ON LABOUR DAY!!!" Rod Black is a tool.

Next game they need to give each fan a free can of beer. :)

Beginning of the end for Austin? When the home town fans are throwing things & Austin is mixing  it up with them then it can't be good.
