Coaches Show July 28

Listening for the first time in a while so I'll try to recap as we go ...

-- MOS was asked about any regrets re: cutting Ford. Said no due to his injuries and pointed out Grigsby 2nd in rushing league wide (not a good sign for us Cotton fans)

-- Doesn't plan to spy Lefevour on Thursday, says they'll just have to tackle better than they did vs Reilly.

-- Somebody asking if Willy is 100% ... MOS answers that once camp breaks, no player is 100% but what he wants are guys who give full effort even if they're nicked. Says he expects guys will play hurt, noting difference between playing hurt and playing injured.

Said Moore looks doubtful ... so I am guessing hello Kelly

Greaves is not a sure thing for Thursday

-- Liked Leggett's game on Friday ... good range. Says he could have had another pick or two.

-- Bob asks if he keeps an eye out for guys who are getting overconfident etc, MOS says he'd notice it if it was happening in the room but it's not.

Yikes...could be another scary looking roster for Thursday. So many key injuries...

No wonder I don't usually listen to this live.

I'm listening and did not hear Moore doubtful. Can anyone confirm O'Shea said Moore is doubtful?

Probably less than 20 minutes of actual content in the hour long show.

Oh my god. I can't handle this.

honestly, this program is just wasting MOS time.

Oh my god. I can't handle this.

It can be a little exhausting with some of the stupid callers but there's usually a few interesting nuggets that make the show worth listening to. And if you don't like the calls everyone has the option of calling in themselves. I always get my questions in with ease.

It's in his contract.

And the time of everyone who tries to listen. I know that OB has to make a profit, but Jeez....its really unlistenable.

Love the guy who always asks about forcing OL to wear leg braces in practice.

Force has to go somewhere.  When you wear a restrictive brace on your knee, you are putting more strain on your hip and ankle, and vice-versa for any joint.

Grigsby didn't really look all that bad on Friday night. The tackles for big losses really hurt his stats. He was also asked to convert a lot of short yardage.

Stop complaining and call in and ask questions you'd like to hear answered.

Anyone think the Bombers may make a play for Dressler if he's cut by the Chiefs? Apparently he's in pretty tough. Bryant isn't the answer and Willy may already have more chemistry with him(Dressler) than any of current guys on the team.

I'd be disappointed if Dressler was available and we didn't go after him. He is a great receiver.

You think there's any chance the Riders wouldn't just back a dump truck full of money up to him?

It would be a much better program with a lot more ground covered if they took questions via Twitter and e-mail.  Just taking the preamble from the questions would probably add several minutes of actual show time.

yeah he did look that bad. He did too much side to side running rather than taking the ball upfield and not getting much he ran sideways and lost more.

Does a bear Catholic?
