Guest
I'm good with this move, especially since Sears is starting at Sam this week.
gbill2004
Yep. Taking Banks and Suber out of the mix really brings the roster together.
James
Now here's hoping Bruce Johnson gets a shot in supers spot... I think he's going to be pretty good there
Captain Blue
What on earth are we gonna do when Banks is back? He hasn't looked good.
Mr. Perfect
What on earth are we gonna do when Banks is back? He hasn't looked good. Cut him. Won't happen of course but wishful thinking.
Atomic
What on earth are we gonna do when Banks is back? He hasn't looked good. Let's worry about that when the time comes. Injuries happen and having an experienced guy like Banks waiting in the wings isn't the worst thing in the world.

Worst case scenario we can trade him to Ottawa for their first rounder next year. Desjardins will go for that.
Goalie
Is BANKS actually injured or is he on the 1 game cuz like others have said, he hasn't looked good at all and it's a way to keep him on the roster. I know suber is actually injured but Banks? I'm not convinced he is. We gave up a backup to a backup receiver for him, Banks probably won't last the season in blue n gold. Gonna go out on a limb here and say he is either traded or released. There is a date or week when veteran contracts are guaranteed right? is it week 10? 11?12? I'm not sure but, it wouldn't shock me to see banks sent packing by then.
Tracker
Considering who we gave up, and the salary dump, we are still ahead. Poblah wasn't even a decent backup.

bearpants
Didn't Banks play mostly as a nickelback on passing downs last year?... no reason he couldn't play a similar role this year.... I like his attitude and I think it helps the team off the field to have him around this year... assuming he's not a liability on the field MOBomberFan
bearpants
Didn't Sears start one game at SAM in 2012 and get hurt half way through??

JuranBoldenRules
We have Markett in reserve too. Not sure if an IMP DB is going to factor in as the dime given the ratio issues, I'm assuming they'd want Anderson out there for most passing downs. Banks is used to playing on good teams, and even on good teams leaned toward malcontent tendencies. I'm not a huge fan of bringing him in or keeping him around for "leadership." We need to develop good players who are going to be good players when the team is good, if that makes sense. Goalie
Harbaugh
At camp a few weeks ago I felt like telling these two fans to return their newly purchased Banks jerseys while they can.
Jacquie
Banks is injured. From the Sun: Johnny Sears will play at strong-side linebacker in place of the injured Korey Banks, whose Bomber debut will have to wait at least a week due to a bad back. http://www.winnipegsun.com/2014/06/22/bombers-set-lineup-ahead-of-thursdays-cfl-opener
