iso_55
Thought I'd start a new thread relating to today's ratification vote. This could become a very busy topic if the players vote down the pending deal. I wonder when the results will be released to the media? #keepingmyfingerscrossed AtlanticRiderFan

iso_55
Jeebus, just nine teams & it takes all day? This should be over in an hour. This whole CBA process just totally sucks. AtlanticRiderFan

Except that what is the point to the board of governors voting if the players end up rejecting the CBA? I'm we'll hear something tonight.

17to85
They won't vote against it. If the CFLPA tells them to ratify it they will ratify it otherwise why do they even have the PA representing them in the first place? Quit worrying about nothing. robynjt

I'm always worried about the possibility of having no football though, even if it's a slim chance.
DR. CFL
Why worry? The reps and the PA are the elite of the membership. Not the grassroots grunts at the bottom. The saving grace for the membership is 8 of the 9 teams voting include rookies who should be thrilled with their immediate benefits. I would be more concerned about a rejection vote if the rookies were totally excluded.

KptKrunch
They'll ratify it. I don't think the imports can even stay here if they aren't working. The ones who aren't Canadian Citizens anyway. I'm sure a few will vote 'no' but yeah, if the PA says take they'll take it. What else are they going to do?
