I mean he played great last season down the stretch. I give him credit but I always thought of him a guy who never played great when it mattered. In the western finals against us there was like just under 2 minutes against us, down the field and he he took about 1:40 off the clock nickel and diming us until there wasn’t enough time left. Like he refused to push it down the field and settled for the 10 yard completion to boost his passing percentage. It was bizarre.

What qb would replace him? That's why. There's no one. Curtis Rourke ain't ever coming now that he's Purdy's backup. A million dollars a year may attract some much needed new talent to the CFL at qb. Remains to be seen though as they pay in Canadian dollars.

ZACH!!!!

After watching that: sure sounded to me like Buck is Bomber's HC in waiting if O'Shea ever decides to hang them up.

Rourke is a third stringer, not the backup and there is a good chance he gets cut and has to come to the CFL at some point.

I had read that he was the actual backup. Even as a third string qb he's not here. He's not coming.
