Our offence was bad, partly because we didn't have a star receiver to go up and bring down the 50/50 ball consistently. Add Lawler and the rest of the recievers get more room.

Understandable. However, in Walter's defence, and I am in no way absolving him, maybe some of those premium players may not have wanted to come here because of O'Shea's rigid insistence of playing his pet players to the exclusion of better players.

I just can't imagine Jake Thomas coming back again but if Osh is still here, I wouldn't be surprised if he did & started again. It's a joke. Playing him on a 3 man front & watching him get washed out to sea like a boat in Hurricane Melissa.

Keep Lawler is the main one.  Maybe go nuts to sign Geno Lewis too.  The next best receiver was Hollins who is busted up and barely played, bounced around the league this year.

Main thing is scouting and recruiting.  Which has been in steep decline since 22.

We could have bolstered the DL which would have made a huge difference. There were free agent OL out there. None signed. Claimed we didn't have the money. As far as recruiting goes, I think we did fine but the Head Coach plays his favourites. Young guys barely get a chance.
