Ham @ Tor // Cgy @ BC -- Saturday Football

Hamilton trying to hang on to 1st place with a surging Also team hot on their heels. Late game has two teams that theoretically could still win the West ...

So the lead-in to the double header today is bull riding? Can't find enough content for a 30 minute lead-in to preview the games today or recap last game TSN?

Rough for them. I mean it was kind of a foregone conclusion the west would cross over anyway but that should seal It.

Yes, worth noting that an Argos loss locks down a Bombers playoff spot.

Can't the Elks still pass us?

If the Bombers lose out and the Elks win out the Elks would be in 4th.

If the Elks lose one but one of the games they win is against the Bombers, the Elks would have to win by at least 14

I don't know the math, was just told that the Bombers clinch with an Argos loss...

Watching the Argos O against the Hamilton D...really shows how much of a difference maker ZC was last week.

Consistent pressure, whenever Doege holds on to the ball.

Worth noting as well that they suck. :)

I don't know how Hamilton is not walking away with this game. Doege has been a turnover machine & it's still a 2 score game.

Wouldn’t be the worst thing getting to the the Grey Cup as the East representative and would be a definite story line for the Championship Game held in the Peg.

I’m not giving that Tigercat player a hard time cuz it’s exciting as a player to get four sacks in a game but if Holm intercepted a pass for the fourth time of the game, he’s not looking at his teammates going is that four. You need players like Holm and they way he carries himself to help with strong team dynamics imo.

I know I am 5 steps ahead of myself but if the Bombers are the East representative in the Grey Cup they would be on the visitor sidelines.

Also, do you think the Western team would allow the Bombers to still use their own dressing room?

Ahhhh k so ya I misspoke... What the Argos loss does is guarantee a crossover. Gonna be an interesting playoffs for sure. These next few weeks are just massive.

What a terrible first  game of the double header. You knew after Arbuckle went down the game was over although Doege did show signs he may develop into a decent CFL qb someday. Instead of fans worrying about losing the 55 yard line maybe they should worry that the CFL has no plans to get rid of the coaches & mgmt salary cap which is truly hindering player development & quality of play in the CFL.

Is it just me or does it look like VA has just given up? His playing has been downright putrid.

An atrocious OL and no adjustments made to get the ball out quicker. I'm surprised at how poorly Dinwiddie managed the situation.

It's on par with his career.   Roller coaster of highs and lows.

Exactly this. Who can possibly be surprised at VAJ looking like **** in the back half of a season?? You can set your watch by it.

The more he passes the ball the less likely Calgary is to win a game.

In for a wild finish thanks to Rourke picks ..

VA is the ultimate summer QB. Seems like every year he’s the MOP front runner in the middle of August then either he gets hurt or starts shitting his pants.
