I don't entirely disagree. If we took Person off and added Bailey and used the extra DI spot for Adams I'd be happy with that. The catch is that we're not deep at DE so that's the only other option with Bailey taking on some reps there. I don't think Person has been invisible per se. Not recording stats but he has applied some pressure and added contain responsibilities.  Two DT's in 10 games is not overwhelming success though.

He's been fine...he gets minimal reps but in those reps is assignment sound and garners attention

Better plan would be to remove Ball for Bailey...Ayers for Adams....and with WJ...Vaughters...Person.Woods..Adams..Lawson...Bailey....no need for Thomas and use his spot for Vibert or Cobb and give your self extra receiver/returner depth....or Oline depth....but that would make us much better and a lot of semse...so it wont happen under this HC

Ayers basically just plays teams...Woods..Adams and Bailey all can play teams, and get actual useful defensive reps....Wayching Thomas the last few games stumbling around on kick covergae, and on the short kick attempt was just pathetic and sad

For some reason O'Shea refuses to consider taking Ayers off the roster. That would my 1st choice to have 2 import DT's.  Unfortunately Person is the only other alternative switch and that is not happening either.  Last time we played the TiCats we gave up 160 yards rushing. Let's see if just adding Woods in rotation improves that and results in a win.

I'm glad Woods is in, and that Person is staying on. Also glad Kornelson is off.  I hope we give both Woods and Person decent snaps this week. Person has seen a snap dip since our DLs best game. Adding Bailey and Adams will slashing Thomas' reps would be the dream, but we all know that won't happen.

Seeing Smith as the backup behind kramdi... he gonna get some defensive reps? I think he's earned some based on his special teams play

I doubt it; the extra reps will slide to Vaval and Woodbey.

No he hasn't but his reps have been slashed drastically after the first few weeks he got in. We've been stuck on running 3 canadian DL on half our snaps for over a month now. That's the real issue.

Just not giving Thomas and Korn reps will improve the whole oeverall aspect

We need Person on...3 de's and honestl a 4th who adds something different ala Bailey and a real speed guy off edge would be ideal....when we had a legit dline...we had 4 guys who were not a drop off....and 2 import DY's who could play

Woodbey is doing what they envisioned for Ayers...and he doing it damn well...drops into coverage...plays on end....up in middle flats.....so Ayers is redundant really and if they feel the meed to dress that additional import then put J.Jones in then....a guy who can play legit defensive reps in 2 spots in the LB core and plays ST....The 2 TD return game for Vaval interestingly enough Jones and Adams helped make that happen with key blocks on both TD's

yup...the dude showed huge talent and major upside with more play....and then bam...shut right down for the 2 canadian slugs....and make it worse removed Adams too....Our best defensive front game of the yr....and we went totally away from what made it the best game...if that not an indication of a coaching staff with no clue I just dont know what is

Bailey prob having a slow time adapting to the cfl game cuz Osh and crew have played others like him this year. Something we fans might not be privy 2 is how ppl are in film and practice as nobody really ever goes and certainly don’t know what goes in the film room. Maybe like Mitchell he’s a slow learner. I mean Houston himself said it took him a few weeks to get it all down and he’s a cfl vet who was here before. I’d imagine youngers D is a bit complicated for a young guy to learn.

DE is probably one of if not the easiest position on defence in the CFL to just drop a guy in with minimal issue...that's not the reason he hasn't got a shot with

We'd rather dress a slug...or a bottom end roster guy that can only play teams and offer zero depth...

So instead we'll let Jake huff and puff at end instead doing nothing? Sorry but I don't care how we'll Jake Thomas knows the playbook at some point you need an athlete who can make plays out there

Definitely not Thomas ;)

I would suspect he isn’t a turn key teams guy. the rest have only really been teams guys at lower levels. bailey has been a pass rusher.

Its hard to adapt from a none teams guy to being a valuable teams guy in the canadian game with only practice reps.

From his showing in camp and pre season he clearly has the ability to beat cfl OL with raw power and speed, but also with polished moves.

But mos values DI teams guys like he does starting skill position guys. To him, the concept of sitting a guy like ball for bailey is like asking him to sit vaughters so cam echols can rotate at wr.

I know receivers, in general are divas but this makes me laugh. Dude. You're in the CFL. No one, and I mean no one is going to remember Kenny Lawler in 15 years.

Bomber fans will be gathered around a bon fire saying who was that guy that left twice that made the occasional great catch during the early 2020's and they'll need to spend time using Google to figure it out.

Relax Kenny. You're a nobody. You're not anywhere close to a legend or CFL hall of famer. You're, at best, a slightly better modern version of Derrick Armstrong.
