He wasn't in the pocket on the 2nd down play for 2 seconds and there was zero pressure.  It's his default but he doesn't have the mobility to threaten the edge anymore.  He does better keeping his eyes downfield with PA/RPO look.

If he stepped up he wouldn’t have had any one to throw to in 1-2 seconds that would buy. He created much more time and no one could find a soft spot vs zone.
