HardCoreBlue Posted 18 hours ago Report Posted 18 hours ago Good win. Lots of positives but lots to clean up if we plan on closing it out in St. Louis. Hope Shief is okay.

captaincanuck12 Posted 16 hours ago Report Posted 16 hours ago Cjob was talking about how Schenn left his feet when he hit Scheifs. Hope the f****** league looks into it and suspends him. Total bullshit. rebusrankin and Piggy 1 2

Reminds me of the Hartmans dirty hit on Ehlers. Blue players are taking liberty with our star players and are not being forced to answer the bell. Edited 9 hours ago by HardCoreBlue Piggy 1 1
Goalie Posted 9 hours ago Report Posted 9 hours ago (edited) Similar to the ekblad hit. Believe he got a game or 2. Schenn won’t cuz nhl don’t care about illegal checks on Canadian teams. Edited 9 hours ago by Goalie
Noeller Posted 8 hours ago Report Posted 8 hours ago My biggest issue with rh bhit is that Scheifele clearly wasn't looking at Schenn. He was looking toward the boards where the puck was. Schenn saw he wasn't looking and still went through him. That's as egregious as it gets.

These refs tho have allowed St. Louis to get away with it tho. Schenn only got 2 for interference and 2 for roughing which was extra cuz our guy got 2 minutes also. Refs almost evened it up. Gave them a 2 minute power play really when should have been a 5. And a game. If Schenn got 5 and a game I’d be ok with no suspension but he got 2 minutes for the hit and 2 minutes for roughing. That’s not enough. And it’s not the first time a hit like that was thrown on a jet with no call. St. Louis almost has to legit murder for a penalty call. Edited 8 hours ago by Goalie Stickem 1
BomberBall. Posted 8 hours ago Report Posted 8 hours ago I was at the game last night…. Crazy atmosphere…. As others have said, and we’ve been saying throughout this series, the officiating has been straight up crooked. The refs are simply ignoring the cheap **** the Blues are doing behind the play and right in front of their faces. Several times last night I watched an official stare right at a blatant infraction, and do nothing. Schenn should get a game for that hit, no doubt, but I’d be shocked if he did.

If nothing more comes of this, I assume precedent set in this series. Next time Kyrou, Thomas etc head is down looking for the puck and a Jet player leaves his feet and steamrolls him, expect a two minute interference penalty just for consistency? The obvious strategy employed by the Blues from the start of this series is to target our top guys as much as they can get away with and at this point it seems they continue to be given a lot of latitude by the referring crew. HardCoreBlue Posted 6 hours ago Report Posted 6 hours ago Schenn and Faska are having their way with us and it seems there is not much we can expect from the referees so score goals save pucks and shut them up.

HardCoreBlue Posted 5 hours ago Report Posted 5 hours ago (edited) 5 minutes ago, BomberBall. said: Is that official? Yup, Friedman reported on it today. Taken from hockey feed: 'NHL insider Elliotte Friedman reports this morning that there will be NO supplemental discipline coming as a result of last night’s game'. So moving forward, Jet players should expect a 2 minute minor for interference on similar hits on Blue Players just for consistency of course. Edited 5 hours ago by HardCoreBlue

And one thing we know we can expect from these officials is not being consistent…. Except for consistently giving us the short end of the stick.

So next game when one of our players goes Schenn on a Blue player we can call up yesterdays hit to say yup give us 2 minutes interference please.

captaincanuck12 Posted 5 hours ago Report Posted 5 hours ago **** YOU DPOS ! Parros you're a ******* moron. And I blame the refs for not setting any consistency whatsoever in this series. We have lost our best player for game 6! I would run the hell out of the blues . Hack and slash and injure as many of those ******* dirty pos players . UN-*******-believable. Noeller 1

Hope I’m wrong and they’re sitting him to rest him.
BomberBall. Posted 3 hours ago Report Posted 3 hours ago 8 minutes ago, kelownabomberfan said: so who goes in? Gus? Yeah, pretty safe to assume Gus would jump back in.
Goalie Posted 3 hours ago Report Posted 3 hours ago (edited) Gus or Kupari. Concussion protocol it sounds like for 55. 24 to 48 hours. Makes sense he isn’t travelling with them. He can’t. He was concussed last night. I think they shock the world and win game 6. Edited 3 hours ago by Goalie rebusrankin, kelownabomberfan and HardCoreBlue 3
