Guess I'm doing the first time in a long time

Jets are down 2-1 in the playoffs and every win is a need to win game we are without Barron (could play on Tuesday) and Dillon (day to day also could play on tuesday)

game is tied at 1 after 1......I'll take it

Honestly, second half of that period, the jets were the better team. Need to keep up that style of play

I would agree Jets were better, but Colorado had more dangerous chances.  Jets easily could.have given up a goal in the dying seconds.

Couples thoughts:

1. Monahan has been way too soft.   Two times he was out muscled for the puck. Including one time on the pp

2. Ehlers is not very good.  Getting out worked and making dumb decisions with the puck. Gary Galley pointed one thing out during the broadcast that led to an Avs chance.  Think he's trying too hard.

3. Pp was just awful.  A chance to grab some momentum and they never generated 1 shot.

4.  Helle has been solid.   That goal against was 100% not his fault.  

5. Lowry, Scheifs and Morrissey have been good as has Nino.  

Anyways second period awaits.  Need solid 20 mins.

Some talk Mackinnon is injured a bit.

really I thought he had been underperforming this season, he needs to get his groove back somehow

 Jets need to protect the puck on the ******* power play. Scheifs makes a brain dead play to throw it behind the net and nobody is there.

******* hell.   Another ******* penalty and this kills us

Colorado VGK series is going to be interesting....

It's times like these is why I have the Aug 3rd Bomber shellacking of the Lions on my PVR. So I can watch a team that actually gives a ****.

Just wait until next year, then this team will do something in the playoffs  ...

I could watch this game but have chosen not to. Glad I'm not judging by the angry posts here. We lost this series all the way back when fans in Winnipeg were chanting, "Pull the goalie" in game 1.  Just arrogance thinking we had the series in the bag & the first game wasn't even finished yet. I think it fired up the Avs.
