week 3 other games

elks v lions... Edmonton team site:

  • Despite the Elks 0-2 start, they enter the night averaging the second most yards per game in the CFL at 371. That’s second only to BC, who is the lone club to average over 400 yards per game (409).
  • Former Edmonton QB Michael Reilly’s troublesome throwing elbow hasn’t equaled incompletions. Reilly leads the CFL in completion percentage at 75.4 per cent.
  • Trevor Harris comes into the game as the CFL’s leading passer with 566 yards, just ahead of Reilly’s 545 yards.
  • LOL Harris.

I watched about 10 minutes of streveler this pre season and I just can't do it. Nfl preseason is the worst football on the planet.

And people actually pay to see that.

I quit the NFL 3 years ago - have not watched a single game.  Its been a good decision.

I watch a handful of games in the NFL. Mainly to see some teams counter strategy and tactics. Mostly rpo zone blocking etc. I used to watch a lot and watching less is definitely a good call.

I watch more  college stuff again. Not nearly what I used to and more fringe bowl teams.

And pay through the nose no less.

He ran about 200 yards for 50 on that one wow

They should get alford in on the offense more that guy can scoot

Ok well looking forward to playing Calgary next week...

Vernon Adams looks terrible

So far these als do not look elite

Same old VA ...brutal awareness

Winky is gonna be a very sought-after guy in the off season. Probably down south too.

Real good toss under pressure

Adams Jr starting to roll.  Got real lucky on that fumble tho, good job by his young receiver hustling downfield after the play.

Maier shows too much confidence in his arm, throwing to the wide side deep, ugly pick ... comes back and throws deep to the boundary ... real pretty play.

Live by the tip you die by the tip. He's tough though. And got some arm talent.

questionable throw into a big crowd, some poor decision making there.

Stanback such a beast, best tailback in the league at this moment.

I see receivers making plays more so than VA rolling

Stanbeck is the anti wilder.

I like that Calgary is just rolling with this kid they believe in. Even with out bench seasoning. It's gonna be interesting to watch him progress. It's been a hot button thing in football for a few years as to if it's wasted time or not.

yeah, a good QB doesn't ever take advantage of his receivers' giant catch radius.

You credit the QB for that?

I like a guy who let's his wrs make plays. But vaj looks like he's max effort in his delivery when he shouldn't be.

if Adams puts less air on that throw to Lewis, that throw becomes a lot more dangerous, there's a DB right there to make a play on it. You got a receiver with outrageous vertical and body control, throw it high and let him make a play.

He was definitely covered I will give you that.

Letting guys make plays is fine, but he definitely isn't throwing guys open

Much as I detest his showboating, I would take Wilder jr.

Oof that was a knuckle ball

Looks like the Als have the Calgary offence figured out.

I'd like to thank Stanback for helping me avoid a strike this week.

dude has great moves, no doubt, but he can't make the tough yards like a Stanback or a Harris.

if he dresses for the job he wants, I see a great future for Wilder in the wet t-shirt contest industry.
