That’s a bit strange. I guess he’s not centering the 4th line tonight. Maybe Yager will get called up? Zhilkin?

Brad Lambert is our next Nic Petan. Good luck playing in Zurich next year Brad!

Projected lines for tonight:

Connor – Scheifele – Vilardi
Perfetti – Lowry – Iafallo
Mercer – Barron – Bjorck
Koepke – Lambert – Rosen

Samberg – Pionk
Ferraro – Salomonsson
Fleury – DeMelo

I don’t recall ever seeing Lambert at center. I don’t like Lowry at 2C with Iafallo, but they’ve lost 9 straight, so….

Lambert has been put on waivers today, so it is doubtful he will play tonight. Another first round pick that fizzled.

I don't know what the problem is, is it the organization not giving them opportunities or the attitudes of the players

Was there a change in our scouting after 2016? We pretty much fell off a cliff. I know we were drafting later in the draft in the past few years but geesh, a monkey throwing darts at a dart board would have a better record than this.

or maybe they thought they didn't need proper scouting considering how Ehlers and Laine were essentially carrying the team for awhile

Petan could at least light it up in the AHL
