In my head, 7.5 seems high but I think the rates are going up and that's just what you pay guys now... I really like rh buy but he just can't stay healthy and he's slow as mud.

30 goal guy. 7.5 seems right.

id suggest 5.75 to 6 for Samberg and yup. Good to go.

10.5 in cap means maybe room for a move or 2 still even with Samberg.

It also is on the high side for what hes done so far but I think the Jets see him as a point a game guy when healthy.

Evolving hockey who predicts contracts and aav had him at 8.6 x 6 years so jets got a bargain here. 7.5 is the going rate for 60 to 70 points.

fun fact.

Vilardi 61 points last year. 7.5 aav - career high points  71 games  played

Ehlers 63 points last year. 8.5 aav. 1 point off his career high of 64 back in year 2 of his jets career. 69 games played

We've had great success in signing players who have played here either through being drafted or traded for.  Its free agency with guys who have never played here that we struggle.

Turns out you get them here and they love it. Getting them here is the issue. There’s a perception about Winnipeg that lots of us think is reasons but turns out hunting fishing and the outdoors is very popular with rich people and the younger guys who just want to play hockey and that’s it, well this is the ideal place for them. I personally don’t want players who can’t deal with the equivalent of 2 weeks really of very cold temperatures. The rest of the time is your typical northern winter. No different than Chicago Minnesota or Wisconsin. Edmonton on average is colder in the winter than we are recently (last 5 years)
