Jets playoff watch, as of 10:00 am March 11:

Assuming all regulation or overtime wins:

- Clinch a playoff spot with an 8-6 record

- Clinch the top wildcard spot with an 8-5-1 record

- Clinch 3rd in the Central with a 10-4 record

- Clinch 1st in the Central with an 11-2-1 record

- Clinch 1st in the West with a 14-0 record, and 2 Calgary losses and 2 losses and a tie by San Jose in non head-to-head games with the Jets

I wonder if they'll groom Hendricks into coaching?

Yup, just make the damn playoffs then do some damage.

That model assumes that the other teams all win out, which isn't going to happen either. But right now this is the simple math of what the Jets need to do regardless of any other team's performance. I'd say that anything other than the option of finishing first in the conference is definitely in play.

Looking at STL's schedule it's a wonder how they not finish in first.

SJS beat MIN last night.

Sharks score first

thank you copp for fixing that

little makes it 2-1

Unless they tighten up and both goalies control their rebounds, this has high scoring game written all over it.

KConn breaks the tie

SAN Jose throwing everything at the net thinking they got a chance and they are right.

Someone tell the Jets the game isn’t 30 minutes long.  Pretty sure it’s been about 2 shots in the last 20+ minutes.

thank you perreault you may have just saved our butts

I think it's time that Brossy was put in net for awhile

I take it back. Deserves got everything to do with it.

Jets were outshot 21-4 in the latter half of the game.

9 heart breaks out of 10. Doesn't get much worse than that.

 What an absolute heartbreaker.

Wow, who pinches late in a tie game like that, #57 take a bow.

The Hayes line really took it on the chin.... -4, -4, -3.

Seriously, how does a dman get caught out of position like that in the last 10 seconds of a tie game? Brutal

But if it had worked...

Little that much worse at 2nd line center?

To me the story of the game was that both goalies looked rattled with those tip-in's but it was SJ who went with the feeling you throw everything at the net. 11-4 shots in 3rd.

Perreault now at 2 consecutive games scoring a goal.
