Eskimos @ Stamps

If Eskimos want to be truly taken seriously they have to show something here apart from flashy pass numbers.

  • I’m less about stats and more about the eye test. Streveler passes the eye test. Nichols does not.

  • Our QB throws the ball high and outside into double coverage. Our receiver makes a nice move to even get a hand on it and folks blame the receiver? Then they go on to blame PLAP. SMH.

  • Streveler has 8 passing touchdowns and 4 rushing.  Game 1 - 3 passing Game 2 - 3 passing, 1 rushing Game 3 - 1 rushing Game 4 - 2 rushing Game 10 - 1 passing Game 11 - 1

When was the last time an Eskimo Stamps LD game could be described  as "intense"? LD games have to be hyped but c'mon.

Noticing Cuthbert having a real hard time identifying players this season.  Almost Bob Cole-esque.

Well there's pretty much no hope of us catching Calgary in the standings, so I guess we want the Stamps to win? Looks like the Eskimos may also be regressing - a loss here means they will have dropped 3 of 4. With the lone win coming against the Als.

Stamps look lackadaisical today not playing in fifth gear. Their RB Don jackson just gave up a fumble & the Esks scored to tie it. We know though what they are capable of it they ramp it up. That knee injury to Walker may he serious. If he's out that'll be a huge blow to the Esks passing game.

Walker being out is going to hurt Edmonton if it is serious but I bet Bryant Mitchell sets up in his absence. Jorden just went down for the Stamps.

Wish we had a safety like Woodman.  Guy can play, all over the field supporting the DB's in coverage, making plays on the ball.  Canadian too.  Something we just don't have.

Duke Williams is a thing.

Any ideas why teams like Edmonton and Calgary seem to always find big fast wide outs? Year and Year out they seem to bring in talent at the wide out. Always big and fast receivers. The Bombers on the other hand just seem to sit on their thumbs.

Third year, bet he's a free agent after this season.

BLM just blew his knee out.

Hyper extended for sure

That reaction is almost always ACL or achilles.

Do they want Nichols?

Definite knee, looked like the leg really locked up and the knee took the burnt of it, was in pain on the table but him walking around may give the Stamps some hope, without BLM they are done.

Arbuckle is total ****.

Wow, that is potentially season altering. Hypothetically could give Edmonton or Saskatchewan a shot at 1st in the west.

Calgary's D is insane.  Ton of guys on their first contracts too.

Injuries taking their toll for both teams today

Is BLM wearing the AT's daughter's dancing brace?  WTF is that thing?  Doesn't look like it's man sized.

Why is everyone assuming Mitchell is done? The guy is back in the game.

Reilly throwing deep less & running an actual offence.

Crazy how Calgary has abandoned the run with gimpy BLM.

Isn't it amazing how teams like Calgary and Edmonton can find talent up and down the line? How they can win games at the end with either BLM or in Edmonton's case Mike Reilly.Nether team is ever out of the game and always seem to have talent sitting on the bench to replace whoever goes down. Their scouting is first rate both teams! - And Then There Are The Bombers non of which apply.

It seems Loffler is never in position to make a play on the ball. More lead with the shoulder, looking for the kill shot well after the receiver has secured the ball.
