I'm not sure if Washington being released should be considered a surprise... He wasn't so good that an impressive rookie couldn't knock him off the roster... which is likely what happened...

None of the cuts bother me.  If they brought in others who they think are better, that is positive.  None were proven veterans.

Wouldn't surprise me if LDW got one more shot somewhere else.  He just hasn't been able to put it all together.

    It was a long shot to speculate that Mitchell Baines was not a top prospect I know... but I figured I'd stick to my guns and defy the odds.
