  • what's wrong with that? No more mild apologetic Mark F to kick around on MBB!

I blame Atomic's avatar.

Total **** move by Winnik the other night. Now he's made himself a target, though.

I had a feeling Suter out would affect the Wild but I didn't think they'd be this bad. Dubnyk is carrying that team.

Minnie tried to bully the Jets in the first game - but Dumba, Greenway and Coyle are getting pounded...

Outside of Dubynk, they sure didn't show up to compete. So, classless goonery it is. The Jets need to pot a couple early tonight and rattle the Wild worse than they already are.

hooo boy I wonder if the fists will fly as soon as the puck drops....good the the NHL doesn't carry over penalty minutes onto the next game with the same teams

Wild fans are no slouch and there will be a lot of energy in their barn as well.  What the Jets will likely and hopefully do is is wall off the red line and weather the first 10 minutes, then slowly push that line up to their blue until the Wild no longer have puck possession or space to move, sucking the life out of them and the energy out of the building.  Don't trade hits right away, don't give them anything to feed off of, play patient, take away lanes and smother them, keep everything in front of us until their will breaks, then start pounding them into the boards once the doubt creeps in.

Or put up 6 goals on Dubnyk in the first 10 minutes, both strategies will work.

Yeah I don't think the Jets can afford to play rock em sock em tonight... not with the travel gong show this weekend...

I'd run the bottom six for a good chunk of the first period

If the Wild win one, I'd say its today - be very impressive if the Jets take it

Just play the way they did the last 2 games or really the last 16 or 17 games and it Dont matter if the game is in St Paul, St Pauls or East St Paul

or rather the last game

They are like 16 and 1 in their last 17.

Jets are better than Minnesota.

Playing in St Paul doesn't change that. Like fans have any say in how a team plays lol.

There is nothing wrong with it, I guess I just find it unusual because I am a naturally agreeable and non-confrontational person.

Relentless waves of pain. That’s the strategy.

hey that reminds me who is starting for the Wild, I don't really see them starting Dubnyck again after fridays game

My only concern would be the Jets laying off and thinking that they already have it in the bag and being careless on the ice.

You’re kidding, right?

1st period

PP time Dumba in the box.

Jets had good possession for a majority of the PP but could not capitalize on it

well that didn't take long for the wild to get physical

PP time again Cullen in the box

#OhCaptainOurCaptain for the third straight game the jets open the scoring

Jets have their first penalty of the game Chiarot is serving and we have another fight...when did the Wild become goons? and now Lowry is in the box

game is now tied with seconds left in the 5 on 3

oh man if I had a drink for every penalty drawn by the jets this period....I'd probably be sober still

Whats worse? The announcers cheering for Minny or the refs giving Minny a 5 on 3 cuz Lowry defended Helle after he was whacked several times after the whistle?

curses 2-1 wild

referee  keeps it close.

Penalties killing them...  also getting to cute when they have chances... they need to throw the puck to the net rather then doing that one extra pass when they get a chance...

Dumba's in the box again
