Makes sense because if you bring up Hutch you are risking losing him when you send him back down.  I'm guessing Mason's injury is expected to be short term.  If he were out for the season, it would be Hutch coming up.

No he wouldn't... but Mason would have to go on IR for that to happen, for a minimum of seven days.  That's another reason why I think this is going to be really short term.  I doubt Comrie plays.

I don't remember Comrie playing in preseason either.

Actually it looks like Mason is on IR with concussion now.  So I don't know.

Maybe we do see Comrie at some point.

for the record I doubt he'll start tonight. maybe later this week but then again I don't remember Helle's track record against Col

Hutch would only have to clear waivers if he's up for 30 days or X number of games because he's cleared already.  Saying that, Comrie is the right call because he's the Jets' guy as opposed to Hutch who is playing out his deal here.

how did Mason get a concussion?  Was it on that slap shot to the head from Jannick Hansen?  If so I put that a bit on Laine, I don't know what he was doing on that play but he just put the puck right on Hansen's stick.

on second thought we should try Comrie against Colorado, because I don't think it would be right to feed him to Vegas

you know, I think I'm starting to understand better why they sent Pav to the moose, I don't recall Hutch or Helle getting injured at all last season. They wanted a goalie that wasn't injury prone

Buff-Chiarot is just an absolutely awful pairing.  Activate Poolman already.

I hate it when they recall someone only to have them sit there and feel their asses grow
