Jets are 12-5-3 with 27 points  Kings are 12-7-2 with 26 points in the league

 

Jets are coming off a tough loss in regulation against Nashville

the team is in California the rest of the week so let's hope for at least one win out of this, even if it's an overtime loss

Golf, Beaches , and Sunshine what can possibly go wrong, Jets need to come back .500 or better on this trip losing streaks will drop them in the standing quickly.

yeah I am pretty concerned that they won't use their off day wisely like when there was a three day gap between games before being up against Vegas

We're conditioned to expect the worst from the Jerts lol. None of us are used to expecting points on road trips like we have been this year

If the Jets play clean, they should be alright on this Cali road trip. Discipline is what did them in vs. Nashville, so eliminating the lame penalties should help.

Bit of a surprise as yesterday was an off day so Mason hasnt had any practice.

Good chance he'll play twice in Cali, then.

The Jets have a back-to-back coming up, so that's why I see him getting another start. My guess would be in SJ on Saturday night.

Hes good. Dont let 2 games fool you especially when last year you said the same about helle... Tells me your hockey knowledge is lackkng in certain areas. There is going to be a point this yesr where Helle sits and Mason plays multiple games in a row. 

Let's not forget Mason was brought in to be the starter.  He can play.  He should be pushing for 30-35 games so Helle doesn't get burned out.

Exactly. Last thing we want to do is burn our young goalie out. Mason is a proven vet. If he can't be trusted to be able to get us 2 points on the road then we should never have signed him. I think he'll be fine.

Last year the Kings would of come back and tied the game late and won in overtime, not this year, they gutted out the win tonight, Mason was great tonight so was Armia and Tanev.

Mason had a nice game but man he reminds me of pavs...

Mason was great. He's had a reputation of having 20 game heaters. Wouldn't be too upset if Helle had a 20 game heater than Mason had his 20 game heater now

In some ways, yes... he has a tendency to go flying out of the net and get out of position like Pavs.  But I do think he is a better goalie.
