I was looking forward to seeing Kyle Connor playing tonight.

There are 5 hours, 17 minutes, and 4 seconds until the start of the 2017-2018 NHL regular season (TOR@WPG 10/4 7ET)

cute opening.....did they have to drop the Hello Canada and Hockey Fans int he United States and Newfoundland from the opening broadcasts?

what do I expect tonight? the jets have had a good track record (as of late) when it comes to opening game wins I'm hoping that record continues, we haven't lost the first game of the season since the 2012/2013 season

PP looks good for jets so far.

Trouba in Trouble in d box with hooking penalty.

And its 1-0 Leafs as Copp loses his footing on the play.

Leafs back in box.

End of 1st.

Schief, Laine, Armia looked good. Heck the Jets owned the game 90% until the Trouba penalty.

so something that bothers me is....how come Canada a People's History got a new chapter added to the miniseries and yet the NHL turns 100 and they don't add onto Hockey a People's History

well Jets need to wake up next period...we need to steal this like we did a year ago

Mason looks uncomfortable. Jets-iest game ever. Dominate the other team for 15 minutes then **** the bed for 5 minutes and the game is over.

Otherwise agree completely. Here I was laughing to myself at the Leafs for taking Jets like penalties. Bang bang bang. 3-0. Crowd lifeless, team dejected. 

... this team makes quitting smoking even more of a challenge 

Pk passive pk aka coaching started the downfall. Good thing tanev is in the lineup tho. Just looked deflated after the leafs scored in 45 seconds on the PP. Lowry leads TOI with 8 minutes.. Yup maurice gonna maurice.

Babcock always looks confused. 

We can lose just the same with Poolman on  d and Connor, Petan , and Roslovic up front, really its the first game of the year, we don't play well to start the season for some reason, but its losing to the Leafs that has me bummed atm.

 I haven't watched the game... but based on the stats our goaltending looks terrible while Anderson is standing on his head?

Mason had a couple of good saves, but so far he doesn't have the Yoga stretches that Pav had
