rebusrankin Posted July 7 Report Posted July 7 No Red Lobster on Henderson, it was on Leila. Culvers is very meh. JJ is decent.

Dont believe it was ever an Olive Garden after Red Lobster closed. Building is still there. Its a Sunova Credit Union now. rebusrankin 1
iHeart Posted July 9 Author Report Posted July 9 (edited) yeah I think I would have remembered if there was an Olive Garden there at one point because I used to go to the Northgate Theatre alot in the mid 00's back when they were doing the cheap tickets on certain days and movies that were just about ready to go on home media release Edited July 9 by iHeart

Its a Sunova Credit Union now. Correct but it's Access Credit Union after they merged a few years ago. Red Lobster & Olive Garden were part of the same strip mall but separate buildings (RL was at 803 Leila & OG was 787 Leila). 7 minutes ago, iHeart said: yeah I think I would have remembered if there was an Olive Garden there at one point because I used to go to the Northgate Theatre alot in the mid 00's back when they were doing the cheap tickets on certain days and movies that were just about ready to go on home media release You think incorrectly. The Olive Garden building is now a Salisbury House. It was also a Brannigans at one point too. Noeller 1
iHeart Posted 23 hours ago Author Report Posted 23 hours ago If they do put another Olive Garden here guess where they're going to put it https://www.insauga.com/popular-family-restaurant-chain-plans-to-expand-in-canada/

We already have a 1/4 of the existing locations, they wouldn't want to alter their results in anyway that would make them appear less profitable. Piggy 1 1

iHeart Posted 4 hours ago Author Report Posted 4 hours ago well one things for sure I'm not sure there's room for one on my end, not unless they build one deep into Transcona (Henderson sounds more likely)

They'd kill for an Olive Garden on the island. A lot of people would. If they are smart they'll put one there. It would make a killing.
Brandon Posted 2 hours ago Report Posted 2 hours ago I think that Olive Garden could do well if they were to open smaller shops that offer soups / salads / breadsticks and maybe a few basic items from the menu and/or sandwiches. The current high prices and extreme low quality of food (outside of the soup/salad) will not work in any new area that more then likely already has far better options. The brand itself also mainly appeals to old white people (similar to Swiss Chalet, Sals, Smittys etc...) so long term I'm not sure it can survive without an update.

If Red Lobster can put their biscuit mix in stores, Olive Garden should put their soups and Breadstick mix in stores (and you better believe I'd buy the Soup in a heartbeat, and even make extra gnocchi)

So you may be able to find one to replicate. Unrelated to Olive Garden.... my wife just let me have a bite of her Wendy's Fuego chickenburger and I can verify that this sandwich has legit heat with it. My mouth is still sizzling a few minutes afterwards!
iHeart Posted 1 hour ago Author Report Posted 1 hour ago I have but something didn't go right maybe I should have done the gnocchi from scratch rather than buy it out right
