Some are going under cuz they never got younger people coming in. These places our moms and dads went to, we don’t.

Mark H. Posted Thursday at 03:18 AM Report Posted Thursday at 03:18 AM You can go to a place like Montana's and order their burger platter with a drink, for a few dollars more than a fast food meal, with better quality and quantity. Noeller 1

Y'know I was just gonna say.... I don't mind paying a couple bucks more for breakfast at Stella's. If the food isn't cheap, then why the f*** am I going to the fast food places? rebusrankin and Mark H. 1 1

Plus tip and taxes with slow service. 100% not a bargain, but if you want a sitdown meal that's the extra you pay. Not just a "few dollars more" We all know you're biased against fast food and that's ok. Nothing wrong with that. Bubba Zanetti 1

It's over $20 unless you have a coupon I actually eat fast food more often than not, but I also appreciate a reasonably priced sit down meal Noeller 1

Brandon Posted 13 hours ago Report Posted 13 hours ago I drove by Freddies and saw the drive thru with 20 cars deep. Winnipeg people sure like mediocre fast food chains. Then again for dinner I was dragged to Olive Garden and it was jam packed and the pasta that I had was only a minor notch above a microwave dinner. It always blows my mind on why the location on Reenders is always so busy when the food is very expensive and mediocre. Every dish is near 30 dollars and very subpar.
iHeart Posted 13 hours ago Author Report Posted 13 hours ago yeah because it would be so nice to have to NOT drive all the way to the states for Culvers and at least we have more than one Olive Garden....I'm old enough to remember when we had more than one Red Lobster and I think the other was on Henderson
