bc thumped by SASKATCHEWAN

BC @ SASKATCHEWAN

?‍?Marks the return of Area 51's brother with BC (Ricky Foley)

Ian Hamilton- When the Roughriders fall behind, they tend to abandon the running game and opponents then can get after quarterback Kevin Glenn.

Kevin Glenn starts. Glenn had his lowest output of the regular season in that loss — he threw for 186 yards, albeit with a completion percentage of 70.4 — but he was under duress for much of the game thanks to the Lions’ defensive line.

?‍? Jonathon Jennings starts for BC

I. Hamilton- The Riders are not getting to opposing quarterbacks enough. Rookie Tobi Antigha is second to Jefferson with two sacks and Antigha and A.C. Leonard are tied for second with six pressures apiece. Saskatchewan entered Week 8 ranked seventh in the league with 11 sacks and ninth in the CFL with 31 pressures.

?‍? Dan Clark out at centre. LaBatte fills in, with T Dennis moving to guard, and Bruce (better late than never) Campbell comes off the reserve list to play tackle. This alone should be worth a look.

?‍? BC, who easily beat Sask. last week, relied on 5 FG attempts...with 4 being made.

CFL.ca Staff

By The Numbers

3 – Touchdowns for Duron Carter in the Riders past two games.

4 – Minimum catches that Riders receiver Bakari Grant has made each game. He is only one of three players (Winnipeg’s Darvin Adams and Toronto’s Anthony Coombs) that has four of more catches in every game this season.

10 – Number of rushing touchdowns that Travis Lulay and Jeremiah Johnson have combined for this season. They have five touchdowns apiece.

51 – League leading tackles for Solomon Elimimian heading into Week 8.

?‍? The Riders have played well at home so far this year (2-1). Can they prevail today? I doubt it.

71% of polled fans say Lions win.

6/7 CFL writers say Lions win.

I feel like the answer is pretty much always cheer against the Riders.

Can't we all just get along? Isn't there something we can agree on, like the Riders suck? Wouldn't it be terrible being from Saskachewan? Why do the Riders have the ugliest cheerleaders in the league?

No. You are right. They look like total hot garbage right now. If i didnt know better id say BC was the worst team in the division based on that quarter.

Lol, ass kicking is right.

Id say ***** slapping...

Good to see the Lion's weakness so easily exposed, no question the Bombers can beat this team behind Jennings.

QB controversy in BC....

22-0, who the heck thought this would happen? So Lulay goes in?

Talk about embarrassing. Not often you see a Wally Buono led team not show up. Game looks over after 1 quarter.

lulay throws ducks. he's also lucky.  his scrambling around confuses.

he won't make any difference.

pregame riders radio said bc has O line problems. looks like they were right

So Lulay wouldnt be any better than this s**t show lol? The Riders arnt exactly the 1972 Dolphins. Drew Willy would look better than Jennings right now.

sure he will...he can make reads..go through progressions and has a brain

:D lol buba. yah he'd be better than this.

Actually Wally's teams do do this. Happened in Calgary too.

Jennings sucks but the BC D aint so great At the moment either.

It'll be all the more gratifying when the Lions roar back and crush the Riders  greasy hearts......and if they don't, all the better for the Bombers.

Jennings has deer in the headlights look

jennings appears to have lost it completely.

BC O line appears to be inadequate.

Did Jennings work out with Drew Willy during his injury time? He looks like a scared rookie with happy feet.

saw a guy in the crowd with a mullett!

Where are all the Jennings is an elite qb now? He sucks. Stupid as a brick.  No sorry, the brick is smarter. Don't want to insult any sensitive bricks out there.

My house accepts your apology.

Up 22 and Glenn forcing a horrible throw into double coverage. That a boy. Idiot.

That was BC first first down of the game

Riders secondary playing down to their usual standards.

Hahahaha, get that jack*** out of the game Wally
