Hard to stay positive with another year of this. When is Chevy's contract up? If it was this hear I'd be hard pressed to give him a new deal.

And that's the end of Maurice.

Yup. Right or wrong the coach needs to go. 

But Chevy gave him this team and picked this coach. No problems were fixed. 

GM has had two coaches. Does he get one more?

we used to talk about the stink of the Thrashers. It's still here.  What is Captain Wheeler doing? Because his team is too often unprepared and unmotivated 

what is the leadership on this team?  

Young? Ok. Be young and play hard. Young and shitty is a recipe for disaster. Means the youth are learning bad habits. 

This is embarrassing. Sometimes it's hard to make a change just for change sake. But trade some ******* dead weight. Bench some veterans. 

And yes, fire the HC. They won't yet. Probably gets all season. Jets will be officially eliminated and will play okay at Years end to make all us idiots feel hopeful. Nothing will change

Fire him now. Trade the deadweight. Lose every game left if you have to but TRY!

yeah that's a shame, but it's still mostly a goalie problem

Why should Ehlers care?  He's played hard all year. He's 19. He sees no consequences for shitty veterans. Bottom pairing D that sucks and GM does nothing. 

This team is finished. Hard to be a fan of this garbage.

Smoke and mirrors. He made them get fit. And then got better players. They are much better on paper than under Noel but no better on the ice. So it's not the coach. But he has to pay the price anyway. That's how it works. 

Keep changing coaches until the right mix of talent makes us a competitor and whomever the coach is gets the credit. 

ESW line looked confused... and they should because they were 2nd PP unit.  Ridiculous.

Halfway thru the season, Buff is worn out and playing catch up.

PP and PK still crap...  like since the Jet's return... wtf.

Draft and develop?  Then we throw Helle to the wolves...

This team is a long ways a way from being a playoff contender.

Goalies stink it up 2 games in a row but it is Maurice's fault.

This team is no better under Maurice than Noel. So are you saying we should have kept Noel?

undisciplined. Unprepared. Bad special teams. Bad D. Bad goaltending. But it's just the goalies?  

Listen, if Helle is secretly the coach and GM and captain and Veteran leader then yes blame him.

Its not entirely his fault. He will pay the price because that's how it works. 

But he IS the one that rewarded Helles great game against Hawks by calling him below average and benching him against the best team in the league.  That was a lousy COACHING decision 

Overall been prepared most games and have had good first periods....horrible 2nd periods.

Do you really beleieve goaltending is adequate?

This team has many holes to fill, coaching will probably survive the season no point changing now as it wont change things. Come the end of the season i'd like to see the whole coaching staff fired and some veterans shipped out.

which vets are up  for free agency?

Call up Comrie and see what he can do.
