Hope they are paying Muamba big money for those 2 special teams penalties

First game back for Mumba. Paid 160k + potential bonus. Good deal for the Riders. Just remember how much some of the Bombers get paid. I think it's easily what he's worth. He will get better and he will eventually be more than a special teams player.

Maybe they should just take the best team from the east, the entire west and call it a day when it comes to the playoffs.

What a great 4th quarter! Redblacks go away from what worked in the 4th, then miss a FG in OT for the loss. Riders win cuz 5 turnovers. Should have won by more, but had to settle for FG's instead of TD's. Sound familiar?

Never been a Chris Milo fan. He is an average kicker & when his team needed him he didn't come through. God threw him under the bus.

unfortunately it appears the riders rebuild is going well and according to plan... Montreal officially takes the cake for the biggest gong show right now with Toronto recently emerging as a strong competitor...

Maybe so... and good for the Rider fans (Not the insufferable ones, they are going to be SOOOO much worse now)

But what ever... Chris Jones is still a ******.

At 4 wins, they've now beaten Kyle Walters first season as GM. One more win and they tie our 2015 record.

Anyone else appalled at the fact Ottawa currently sits atop the East, with a losing record?

Not a Jones fan at all but give credit where credit is due; he gutted the team at the beginning, brought in a bunch of young players, committed to them, found some castoffs that he could use and let them work together taking the heat for the losing streak. Now they are starting to gel and look what is happening, they are winning. Now before you all get upset I realize it was Ottawa BUT they are still the best team or at least have the best record in the East so that will certainly put an asterisk beside them BUT they are winning! We play Ottawa last two games. Hopefully we will win those games to validate the quality of team we have.

Sask can't catch us so there is not concern this season BUT it is surprising that they turned it around in less than one season and it took us how long??? Hopefully we will continue to build in the off season for next year. Meanwhile let's concentrate on this year and the remaining three games.

The question is, regarding Jones, is how long will he commit to the Riders? If he smells other opportunities, is he gone? But for now, he gets credit..for the wins. How he built this team, and its components, was handled pretty shabbily, if you ask me.

AND, how will he handle Darian Durant and his new contract going forward? He should go all out in keeping Durant, but will he be influenced by Franklin's availability? This is a really big question for Jones the GM.

And the contracts of his new signings in next year's roster?

And how about the draft next year and the picks he's traded?

Still, lots of questions for the stability of that team.

Even a blind squirrel will find the odd nut and its way too soon to anoint Jones as the stubblejumper messiah.

We're counting the year he took over for Mack six games in as his first season? That hardly seems fair.
