Whether these changes are going to be good for Canadian football or not will need to be seen. Sometimes you just need to stir things up. The thing that bothers me though is they announced these major changes right in the most important time of the season so all the talk is flowing away from the last 1/4 of the season when all thought should be on playoff possibilities. Would have been a lot more effective to make this announcement in the off season and good or bad would get people talking about the game.

Sure messed up my fantasy team this week as I had him as captain, Rourke apparently was a much better pick.

Problem has been at runningback and a soft defense. Arbuckle has performed extremely well last six games and running back situation looks a lot better and defense is starting to get it together. I dont know if if it is a good idea to mess with that. Crazy as it may seem Argos may be the best team in the east right now. If anything I would put Kelly as a back up to be there only if Arbuckle falters.

Im still optimistic, even after a couple of tough weeks. I think we match up well with the Ticats and a win here is a real good possibility, even without our No 1 QB on a long road trip during a short week.

Spencer Brown

They might have a threat with this Spencer Brown RB now though. In less than 3 quarters of play last night he ran for 85 yards and a touchdown. He runs hard and hits the hole faster than McMahon , kept the BC defense off balance when he was in and it shows how it opened up the Argos passing game by giving Arbuckle just that little extra time to let the play develop.

I really like Luke Wilsons take and comments on this calling out the CFL for not seeing the opportunity to grow the game by shifting the site to something more local like London. Refs get paid , pretty good at this level although not as well as NFL. No excuses for shitty calling, they even have pro backup to get it right!

We won, lots of criticism for all fawcetts of this game , but bottem line we found a way to win in the end.

Boy I really like Allen at safety! This is maybe what this backfield has been missing. So far every play he is around where the ball is thrown.

I actually like Wilson as a short yardage QB. He seems to get off faster than Strev and keeps lower, his instincts to move right or left when over the center gets plugged just seems better. Anytime he has been in on short yardage positives have happened. Whether he can run a regular offence is hard to say as he has not had a lot of opportunity. Strev is 2-0 this year when he has started although it has not been pretty. Seems to not have the escapability needed as a run and gun QB like he used to. dont know if his knee surgery is affecting this more than thought or not.

Ya I agree, after watching that , then seeing Younger and the way he handled himself I have no confidence in this new OC. Kind of reminds me a bit of Kellys arrogance. I think its time for a mid season change and put Jackson in charge of that O, otherwise going to be a long season.

Why not move Wheatfall inside for a game and give Mitchell his shot. Wheatfall has done nothing in the 3 losses anyways. If it dont work then cur our losses and next man up. You cant just keep hanging on to a high profile signing, got to be able to admit when you are wrong .

Thats smart thinking, especially if Zac is still feeling some effect of his last Upper Body injury. Strev offers a number of intangibles which just might make this work. It also gives Zac time to get over his ailment and his head back to where it needs to be. Well worth a try cause sure as heck what weve done the last 3 games is not going to win many games going forward.

You might be right. 2008 was Glenn QB, 2009 was the coaching disaster with Leflor as QB. I was at the game he scored his record breaking TD but its foggy now. Khari does make sense.
