Sankey is a load inside, but heavy sets with misdirection and RPO would for sure would wear that unit down. There are different ways to do bully ball and running right at strength is not the always the best way to do it. Slicing and dicing (death by a million cuts) would probably work better next time we meet these guys. For sure Strev and BO grounding and pounding would be interesting to see with the right play calls.

I like the way Emmons is running. He took it to DeQuoy and came out the winner on that one. Best way to beat a physical defence is to out physical them.

Ayer’s has been very good on special teams since last game, it’s made a difference.

I think if we win the turnover battle, limit brainfart penaltys, dont allow the explosion plays, and just get after the QB a little more we will win big. Otherwise it will be another close game. I do feel real good about this one though!

The last couple of days I also have been finding the CFL.ca site not loading. What I have been doing though is going to the CFL.ca+ site through my search engine and it loads immediately. I can get everything I'm looking for from there.

I'm wondering about MBTs comments earlier this week about the short work weeks and if he will receive a fine also. To be consistent he should even though what he said needed to be brought up by someone. I understand the broadcast scheduling thing, but if the CFL and CFLPA are truly working towards better player safety having some teams playing on short weeks for almost one quarter of their total games.

Things change over time, he was good enough to hang around the nfl for a few years and always had arm strength, so until he gets a chance to prove himself in game action now I think it’s unfair to base opinion on a few poor outcomes from 4 years ago

I'm wondering if we use a lot more of the 2 QB set this game with Streveler taking part in the ground game more. Also would not be surprised to see Demski getting looks this game from the HB position.

Awe and Mills are listed as designated nationalized Americans. Extremely smart usage of that rule as those two are going to see much the same game time snap count they normally would but in each instance can replace a lesser talented Canadian and therefore allow a stronger situational lineup where needed.

Losing Bailey is probably going to hurt the most. Just a true heart and soul guy who plays with such a physicality that will be hard to match by any of the new receivers. If we had enough promotion money to get close to what he is worth I'm sure we would have done it.
