  1. Nope, to many drops, keep away from him, rather have another 5'8" receiver that can run and catch!
  2. That's a good problem to have. However Harris brings a different dimension to the running game, better blocker, receiver and tougher extra yards runner. Flanders is more of an elusive slasher type. If I were Lapo I'd be designing some winged T sets so that I could get both in at the same time. It is fall and having a strong running attack down the stretch is going to be critical. I would be sitting Richards and DI Mcguffie when he's healthy. Just my two cents.
  3. #ArgosNot sure if this is out there already, but I'm hearing #Argos will go with Dan Lefevour at QB with Ricky Ray on the shelf #Argos #CFL
  4. This is turning out to be the most exciting game of the weekend, lots of points, lots of drama
  5. Damn, not good news, glad to hear it's not more serious
  6. Manase Foketi, who hadn't played RT ever before the #Bombers' last game, will start there in Montreal on Friday. Hardrick looks to be out. @darrinbauming
  7. Trevor Harris will start for #Redblacks Thursday. Per Tim Baines
  8. Yep. Even though now living in the Okanagan , where surprising to me there is more green and white than orange and black , I'll bleed blue and gold no matter what, even with the last 20 years of frustration.
  9. Boy, there was a guy named Lancaster that I think won only a couple of games in his first two years with an underperforming Riders squad then went on to win cups with a couple of other teams that had a little more talent as well as being a very well respected color commentator in between. You guys are pretty tough on Mr Oshea. Although it's true he has not always made the greatest decisions on the field, he's rapidly improving and I have no trouble backing him. He says and does the right things for the long term health of this club. I believe in MOS and his coaching and really think as long as there are no great injury situations this will be a turn around year and we should be challenging for top spot all year.
  10. Carter's a no brainer against the other guys on the list. Tons more potential and upside.
  11. The new logo sucks, whether your old or young it sucks. It's got no pop.
  12. Sorry guys, gotta agree with Burgess, was a play with intention to injure. Has no place in this game. Should have gotten at least a 1 game suspension. Doesn't really matter what other transgressions happened to Bomber personal previously.
  13. KG a couple of years ago would have been a good move. Today he is past his best before date and would much rather work with our young guns if DW goes down, even if they crap the bed.
  14. Best available talent that is not going to nfl. Stockpile Canadian talent at whatever position works. Injuries occur and if overstocked can always trade for an immediate need.

  16. He's got height, hands and decent speed - everything else can be taught.
  17. Yep go after Bowman and draft Archambeault ( probably 2nd round) would be a good start on a nice LB core
  18. Don't like to see anyone lose their job , but this was a move that had to be made in order to improve. A shutdown defence would go a long way towards a Grey Cup appearance next year.
  19. Boy they don't have a knockout punch. Keeping the Dino's in it
  20. Great discussion! One thing I've noticed as the year has gone on is how well opposing defences have been adapting to our weaknesses. Any scheme is a good one when it works, however once the weaknesses are exposed it becomes very easy to shut down pretty much any type of offence. Calvillo got shut down by pressure and bumping his receivers off the line, Saskatchewans running attack gets shut down when you pile the line and turn the back inside, same as Calgary. However the good offences are able to counter and change up with a different look or scheme. For some reason we haven't done that until we changed up QB and RB against Calgary, then our Coordinator had to get more flexible.
  21. I wonder how much control of the game Willy actually has? I don't see many audibles. Willy seems to do his best during the 2 minute drill when everything is already planned and the D does not have time to react. How would Willy do calling his own plays with no huddle? Would be interesting to see if he's capable.
  22. There was a weird post yesterday morning from a poster I'd never seen before in reference to the Middle East if I remember correctly. It also had a bunch of links to other sites, a whole lot of links that made no sense. Wonder if that was the post that caused the site to go down or crash?
