  1. The Mid American Conference is in the later stages of redoing their contract with ESPN. I know that one stickign point between the two is the value of games on ESPN3 and the compensation provided.
  2. The commentators noted that the Argos db's had a lot of new imports. Could the field size/cfl rules screwed them up a bit?
  3. You know I did not intentionally do that but maybe it planted the idea.... Nice Avatar
  4. Why would Sam Katz care? He's not running for Mayor in October. Give this Yankee a break What's the difference between Yankee and a "Damn Yankee"? . . . . . . Damn Yankee's won't leave!
  5. His game is new to you guys but take it from a Buffalo fan... That was Vintage Drew Willy! Smart decisions, great touch passes, and composure under pressure. I've seen drew win games and I have seen him lose game but I've never seen him panic or look lost in a situation. http://www.ubbullrun.com/2014/6/27/5848288/drew-willy-and-the-winnipeg-blue-bombers-down-toronto
  6. USA in the Knockout round and Pro Football starting up
  7. Now that's a Depth Chart! Seriously though..
  8. I was more focued on the offense than the defense in the preseason (all the motion cathes the eye).. Do the Blue Bombers run a Hybrid defense?
  9. Looking forward to seeing a full game of Willy and what he can do for you guys. I am hoping to see you snap the two season playoff drought but I also have some rooting interest in Toronto (not as much as I do for the Bombers) http://www.ubbullrun.com/2014/6/25/5835068/white-north-wednesday-cfl-and-weekly-openthread
  10. http://www.ubbullrun.com/2014/6/21/5827542/cfl-preseason-wrapup-buffalo-bulls So Willy is #1... Just has to stay healthy and keep doing what he hasbeen doing..
  11. Dang.... One less Bull to root for... I was hoping Moseley would stick because he can play several different positions and as an international thats a good thing to have.
  12. I don't know whay he measures up to by CFL standards but one of Willies strenghts at Buffalo was moving around the defense to help with depth or production wherever we needed it.. Since you brought him up ... what was the book on Moseley in college? He seems to move well on the big field but the one thing I've been really underwhelmed with is his tackling. For a guy that size, he's sure had a hard time wrapping guys up. Really fast guy, good range of motion but not the best tackler in the world. He is a hard hitter who I have seen try to hist his way through a tackle rather than wrap up. It was hard for him in College because he kept getting moved around, and then he got stuck behind Khalil Mack.
  13. Keep in mind he was also Payton Mannings backup at one time
  14. Minnesota... The American Version of Manitoba I might try to sneak up for a game this year if I can get the wife to give me a weekend to make the drive up and back..
  15. Willie Mosesly played MIddle Linebacker in College http://www.ubbullrun.com/2014/5/20/5732474/willie-moseley-linebacker-winnipeg-bluebombers I don't know whay he measures up to by CFL standards but one of Willies strenghts at Buffalo was moving around the defense to help with depth or production wherever we needed it..
  16. I noticed that SSK lost Durant and Willy... Is that normal for so much turnover on a Grey Cup team? Durant is still on the team. They lost Kory Sheets and Weston Dressler. Ohh I mesread another teams roster...
  17. I suspect you may see some of the guys cut by other teams end up Blue Bombers.

  19. http://www.ubbullrun.com/2014/6/15/5811462/cfl-preseason-winnipeg-loses-to-calgary I was happy to see some of the other threads here pointing out that despite the 0-2 record there is hope this season. I really enjoyed watching the CFL games, first ones I have watched beginning to end... I have seen a lot of drew willy football over the years and while his arm strength has improved a bit he is still the same QB who threw for UB. What I loved about him at UB was how fast he got through his reads, his solid decision making, and the touch he could put on a pass. It's why he was a first year starter at UB and the only Buffalo QB to win his division (twice) and the conference (once). In the first game his touch was there but he was not getting through the reads too quickly. In the second his reads of coverage were far better but he still seemed to struggle picking up some of the pass rush packages that were thrown at him. At least twice he should have went right to a check down receiver when the pressure came. The drops also hurt the numbers but you guys have a pretty intelligent fan base so I have seen that commented on. It's not going to kill the perception of Willy but anything that makes the offense look less effective ends up in the Quarterbacks lap. My question is your o-line.
