  1. Serious question, why come though? I have zero interest in going to any other teams sites.
  2. I meant more none of the throwing for 2 yards on second and 8 type of stuff
  3. I was quite happy without any of the signature lapolice offensive calls that make us throw things at the TV
  4. I came here to escape Jason Kenney. Only way to make him worse is find out he's a riders fan
  5. You were meh on someone? Good to see things haven't changed 😊
  6. I prefer to think of it a over 600 days a undefeated champions rather than 600 days off. Also which ones of your sold your soul to the devil for a grey cup and started a pandemic in exchange
  7. Going with my gut without overthinking. Keep in mind I started watching around 2000. Favorite, stegall/brown. Least favorite, Troy Westwood
  8. That guy is an honorary bomber, so not sure he qualifies for this list
  9. My boss at that time was a riders fan. Without looking it up I know exactly what you mean
  10. In my line of work if I take over a job from someone, I stick with what they were doing until I have a good understanding of it, then I change things to suit my style or where I think there's room for improvement. Sometimes it stays similiar, sometimes everything changes. That's what I expect from Buck, he should already understand the system and what he feels works and doesn't work, so I expect him to change things to suit his style. His style as a QB was never to cowardly check down every play, I suspect that won't be his style as an OC. It really comes down to what Buck thinks will improve the offense. If he thinks more aggressive playcalling will do that, then I expect that's what we'll see. While I don't like Lapo as a coach because I don't like his playcalling, I do respect his playbook and knowledge. He designs some very nice plays. So I hope we keep a lot of the playbook, and just utilize it different in how we call the game.
  11. Record was set in 2007. Can find references to the touchdown beagle from earlier than 2007
  12. My favorite thing when I go to a game in Vancouver is how easy it is to get to the stadium on public transportation. Even when I stayed in North Vancouver one time, seabus across the water, quick trip on the sky train and you're there. I despise only transportation, Vancouver is one of the only places I don't mind using it. Bc place is the only cfl stadium I've been to nicer than IGF. Ottawa had the best atmosphere around the stadium leading up to the game. I hate getting to Commonwealth in Edmonton (LRT has a station there, but as mentioned earlier, I hate public transportation). It's also too big as evidenced by $99 season tickets this year. At least for me, BC is my favorite place to go watch a CFL game. But I'm also quiet and boring and would rather focus on the game than being in a packed stadium. So my personal preference may be different from many other sports fans
  13. I'd trust your opinion, but aren't you the guy who two months ago didn't want to roll the dice with O'Shea anymore?
  14. Farhan lalji says he's interviewing in Ottawa tomorrow. Good luck lapo
  15. Who cares what anyone outside of Winnipeg is saying about the game or the team. This is a team that for years couldn't get through Calgary. 2019 Checked that box. This is a team that did not win a game in Regina while I was in my 20's (Won when I was 19 and when I was 30), just checked that box in the playoffs in 2019. It's not always pretty, I still hate Lapolice as a coordinator, but they're still checking all the boxes. One left to check next Sunday. Enjoy the win this week. How many bomber teams can say they went through Calgary and Regina on the road to make it to the Grey Cup? And even if we lose next Sunday, we did the next best thing to winning it all, we made sure the Riders didn't win either.
  16. Compared to most on here I'm a relatively new football fan. I've never seen a Grey Cup win. But I've seen some good bomber teams and some bad bomber teams. With that said, the two games that come to mind would be Loss - 2007 Grey Cup. For me there are 2 acceptable outcomes to a CFL season 1. The bombers win a Grey Cup or 2. The Riders don't win a Grey cup. So by my criteria 2007 was a bad year. Win 2006 against Edmonton - Stegall with the miracle touchdown for the win with Maciocia losing his mind running down the sidelines.
  17. Sure beats the majority of the last 20 years where we tend to lose games to the bad teams. I'm ok with the concept of we're winning games against teams we're better than.
  18. Welcome to Paul Lapolice. They'll never expect this play that doesn't make any sense to call, so we'll call it and the surprise will make it work. Explains all the years of we need X yards for a first down, so they'll never expect us to run a play for X-3 yards on second down.
  19. 20 years of lapolice, this is his go to second and long play. First time I remember it not working and securing the kick he intended when he called it
  20. Grants 50 something yard return I think it was Whitehead who did some nice blocking for him too
  21. I hope about a dozen losses cost them a playoff spot
  22. I'm the same way, so thank you for reminding me I've spent my entire adult life dreading Paul Lapolice working for the bombers
  23. I could be wrong but doesn't it have to be called a TD by the refs to be reviewed. I haven't been able to watch much this year, but always thought if the refs called it incomplete/down on the 1 etc, that there was no automatic review. But if the call on the field is TD then it's reviewed.
  24. Pretty sure we're 0-4, bottom of the standings. Only team without a win, planning the rebuild around whoever is the backup to streveler once we run Nichols out of town
  25. Instead of a full page of people engaging the moron from sask, may I recommend blocking him?
