It’s been pointed out on Twitter that Myles Garrett (Cleveland Browns) did this exact same move and was suspended indefinitely (which ended up being 6 games).

I’m sure he’ll get his minimum suspension for it - but did not refs see this? He should have been booted from the field right there.

I think it would seem a lot better if BO would break a tackle like Andrew did for us. It looks much worse when guys drop on contact. But Booch is right, it's not going to be a clean pocket all night when you're playing a team like Calgary - those guys get paid too.

I'd like to know why we didn't see McCrae at all when we're still forcing BO out there at a 0.9 YPA.

He raises a point I think about all the time. How can PA's (of every sport) defend players who are out there hurting members? They should be the one's wanting suspensions to keep their members safe.

In practice, Marino would never make it past our organizations vetting process. I doubt MOS would ever hear of him and our leadership group would bounce him out quick if he did. Never would have hit the field.

It's actually an interesting conversation. Obviously leaders and Head Coaches in this instance feel the need to be the shield and protect their players. We've all praised MOS for it and mocked others when they throw players under the bus. But at what point do you say, this person made poor choices and need to accept the consequences? Because they split the punishment into different crimes, it is not. He received a two game suspension for the hit. The fact that they were unwilling to raise the minimum suspension for a repeat offender (in only 12 games played) is baffling to me. Now that they've reinforced the precedent of two-games, are we going to see it again the next time he takes a player out for the season? Not to mention the one game suspension for making insults/comments about Masoli's heritage. "Diversity is Strength" my ass.

It's gonna be just like Rourke-Rhymes, they're going to make some plays. The trick is to limit the big plays as much as possible, create some turnovers, and make sure the O makes them pay for those turn overs.

It's going to be the two best teams in the league. Bo looks to be back to his old self, but Zach has shown he's not ready to relinquish his claim to the throne. Carey and Henry are potent offensive weapons - but our three-headed dragon at RB is starting to get going and our air attack only benefits from that. I don't think it's a question who has the most impactful defence. Should be another great game.
