I think that’s what Bailey is looking for, tbh. I expect him to move on to a team who will feature him more. He’s been a great teammate, but I think he’s looking for more than we can offer (in terms of targets, not dollars - though they tend to go up together).

He's talked openly about wanting to be a "franchise player" - so definitely wants to be PAID. But he's also taking initiative, reaching out to management, trying to be involved with the organization and do promotions and get in the community, etc. But apparently no one is giving him that opportunity. So it's either a massive fail by the Als to not use him as a marketing flag or a clear sign that they have no interest in meeting him at his price point (but you'd think they'd just be clear with him - so seems like a fail either way).

He elaborated later, suggesting that Bo could have got more had he gone to FA - so therefore the Ti-Cats got a deal/didn't break the bank/however you want to phrase it. They probably don't release him, but I don't see a situation with Evans coming to camp with the Ti-Cats. They know they can't keep him for the season, and I don't think he wants to be there. A resolution will be found.

I would expect Dane to get released. I don't think he's so far and away better than some other options that Sask would give away too much.

If he can be half decent, he'll earn it.

I'm not worried about our interior - although I do think we're down from our peak in 2021. But I am a little concerned about replacing the tackles when the time comes. No matter who you get, they ain't gonna be what Stanley and Hardrick are for us.

Faj sucks. 100% agree. But they've won games with him before and easily could have done better this past year. Lean in to the running game, accept that he is not moving the ball down field and game plan around a shorter passing game, commit resources to your D, not on a 250k deep threat that Faj can't get the ball to. I don't know if it was arrogance or ignorance, but it came from the top down.

Whomever their QB is, he is going to be low on the list of things wrong with the Riders. Cody wasn't really the problem last year either. O'Day has built a poor culture, made terrible cap management decisions, and hired a coaching staff that can't maximize (or recognize) the abilities of their players.

Vaj is a better fit anywhere because he's the better QB. I don't know if there Riders necessarily need a mobile QB though. They need to design an offence to get the ball out quick.

You don't need insiders to tell you it's both the Riders' and Dane's only option.
