Kimmo timmonen and Dan Boyle are both under 6 feet. Those guys are pretty good. That's just 2 players tho. Some forwards under 6 feet include Marty st louis, sid the kid, Patrick kane, Claude Giroux, Pavel Datsyuk. Really the size thing means nothing. Toby is a very good defensive d man. He's a legit number 1 D at worst 2nd pair. Nonsense that's he's a bottom pair guy. Ridiculous to even suggest such a thing even. Has a rough couple of playoff games playing with a bad shoulder and he sucks? Funny cuz buff looked like crap and played much worse and he's a big guy. Size in nhl is irrelevant really. Minny ain't a huge team and they beat the bigger st louis. Size = irrelevant. If it mattered teams like Boston San Jose and LA all would have made the playoffs. They didn't tho. Smaller teams like minny Nyr tbay Montreal even all did. Chicago? Minny? They have a couple big guys like the jets but as a team they aren't that big on average really. The days of the broadstreet bullies are gone. Players are now smaller and more skilled. Guess cuz Toby plays well defensively and is "small" and doesn't do flashy things on the ice he sucks?

Lots of doubt, this Morley release was rumored to happen a long time ago. I think the more likely scenario is once Picard was signed, Morley was done as a bomber.

Current National OL on the roster - Griffiths,Everett,Neufeld,Picard,Greaves,Goossen. 3 will start. 4 will be rostered Current National Receivers - Kohlert,JFG,Bastien,Reaves. 2 will start... wouldn't 2 others need to back up? Reaves is PR bound FOR SURE.. tells me they will go Demski at 2 as there will be OLINE available at 11 and 15 for sure, Maybe not the "top ranked guys" but really those rankings mean nothing. Some of those top guys will be looking to the NFL in a few years and the NFL will WILL give them a chance,, see ben heenan and Brett Jones. The only way i see them not going Demski at 2 is if in his interviews, Demski tells every other team he will only play for the Bombers.

Myers,Trouba,Buff Toby,Stu,Chiarot Yeah pretty obvious which guy i would be moving out of that group.. It's the guy getting paid like he's a top pairing d man but is playing on the third pair. Maybe if Buff can be moved for a top 4 d, then maybe i think about moving Toby, cuz Toby also would get quite a bit back, he's so undervalued it's actually crazy... plenty of teams would give up tons to get him.. Let's bring recent history into this.. LA traded their first (protected tho, because they didn't make the playoffs so its' a 2016 1st to Carolina) plus a pretty good D prospect for Sekera. RENTAL NYR gave up a 1st (this year), a great prospect in Duclair and something else for Yandle. 1 year remaining on his deal Buff would get back atleast that..Sekera a pure rental for LA got back a 1st and a legit D prospect Toby? a legit number 1 LHD signed to a decent deal for what? 3 more years? man oh man, you'd get back a ton.

The media? LOL like TSN and Sportsnet i guess? who only mentioned the Jets in passing this entire season? I don't get this really, The Jets were pretty much ignored by TSN and Sportsnet the entire season, the only time they actually got some love is when they made the playoffs. All year, both TSN and Sportsnet did everything they could to pretty much ignore the Jets, Toronto this, Ottawa that, Montreal this, Calgary that, Vancouver this, Edmonton this... Winnipeg rarely to never received any sort of love from those 2 networks at all, part of the issue i have with sportsnet is how they completely ignored the Jets all season long. Never talked about them and if they did, it was for 20 seconds. They make the playoffs, get some, not lots, but some love and it's a bad thing now? If you really want to go there, during most jets broadcasts on sportsnet, we got the D team and that D team we got, it was pretty obvious they were cheering against the JETS. ps: TRUE NORTH!!!

I could see some trades happening, but... I think it's more likely that Edmonton is the team making those "big" trades. I don't think the Jets will, might move Buff, might not, depends on what he wants in terms of money and term on an extension. If he wants too much term and money, he'll be traded for sure. If not, he won't be. Chevy doesn't seem like the kind of guy to trade any of the prospects we have or any of our picks tho, I don't see it happening. If anything, i see us trading buff and maybe burmi as a throw in for another 1st round pick. He won't be moving any that's for sure. IMO, untouchables are the guys Chevy has drafted and or traded for and guys like ladd,little,wheeler and even Toby because we have nobody on the left side that is even remotely good enough to be that number 1 LHD.

Enstrom for Lupul hurts this team so much it's ridiculous. Toby is our top LHD man and we have nobody on the roster that can replace him right now. Not even close actually. People have this weird hate on for Enstrom because he had a tough 3 or so games in the playoffs. I don't get it tho, you do not under any circumstances trade your number 1 by a longshot left handed d man for a constantly injured overpaid winger. Enstrom would get back so much more, he's so undervalued and under appreciated by Jets fans cuz he's small, It's ridiculous. Lupul? No thanks. Not what the Jets need at all.

Have to admit, been a hockey fan all my life, played it growing up, just love it.. even when the Jets weren't around.. Now that they are back tho.. sweet really but.. due to the length of the season and the number of games they play, if i miss a Jets game, it's kind of like MEH, oh well... If i miss a bomber game, i'm not too happy about it. 18 games really vs 82 plus really. pre-season,playoffs etc... Jets probably played well over 90 almost 100 games including pre-season this year. Bombers will probably play what? 20? 22 at the most? Football in my opinion is a lot more exciting to watch too, just due to the fact that pretty much every game matters. In the NHL, meh, look at the wild and sens, sucked for half a year, got hot at the right time and made the playoffs, one team is out, the other will probably go to the western conference finals.

Appreciate the Mocks for sure, I honestly have no idea who goes where but... reading between some lines, Ottawa probably does take Mateas, and Winnipeg, well I think we do go with Demski at 2. From what i've seen and read from people who actually have some say in the matter, they are high on Demski and Canadian Receiver is definitely a weak spot for us... Kohlert is our only proven guy really, Demski makes too much sense. OL? they went out and improved it this season and i think some of the guys who are not getting hype like Bodanis and Lawlor are the guys we should be looking at with our later picks. 3 OL, 2 Receivers, DB, LB. <-- that's our starting 7 Canadians. Makes too much sense to go with Demski with pick 2 and OL later in the draft, as early as the 2nd round even. If i was a betting man, I'd have to bet that we see a run on non OL players in the first round just due to the depth of the OL in this draft
