I do believe Vancouver plays edmonton and Calgary tho. They all play each other once or twice more. So those are important games there. Teams below or just above us are guaranteed points.

We got a tough schedule for sure. Vancouver sucks and will finish last. You know what. If we don't pick top 4 (Matthews Laine Puljujarvi Dubois ) one of Chychrun Sergachev Juolevi helps us also and 1 2 or all 3 might or should be there when we do pick. LHD is an area of concern so regardless of top 3 or top 7 or 8 probably we should get a player that helps us sooner rather than later . Top 4 would be great but getting a LHD prospect helps us also. Perhaps more actually in the bigger picture. I'll be super stoked if we win the lottery but if not I'm more than happy with one of Chychrun Sergachev or Juolevi

ESW is our only good line. They dominated. Rest were meh. On to the next one Really need Connor Little and Perreault and hopefully get a top 3 pick to give us 2 very good lines with the possibility of having 3 very good lines. ESW 20 minutes Connor Little Laine 16 minutes Perreault Petan Armia 14 minutes Lemieux Lowry Lipon. Copp as 13th forward 10 minutes 3 high end skilled lines plus a 4th that can grind and hit and with Lemieux there... score every now and then. Starting to get the feeling myers is here long term. Think Hamonic only happens if Enstrom is traded for him. Switch Petan with Lowry if you like or put Copp as 4th line center. Petan to the Moose and Thorbs as 13th forward

Well. Perreault and Burmis contracts are up at the end of next season. Perreault is UFA. Believe Burmi is still RFA. Dano? He's been here 4 weeks now. Hasn't shown what he is totally capable of. Perreault hopefully signs a new deal. Burmi? Who knows at this point. He's a bottom 6 probably 4th line on a good team with no injuries. Not a big loss

The expansion draft poses no issue at all really... 1 G, 3 D, 7 Forwards If you have to protect Connor and Ehlers for that matter, along with Scheif and Wheeler and maybe Little and someone else, (Lowry,Armia,Petan type), You protect them and leave someone else exposed. Basically if the expansion draft happens, you aren't gonna be losing one of scheif,ehlers or connor cuz they are your future, the building blocks. Expansion draft is irrelevant cuz if need be, they would protect Connor and leave someone else unprotected.

I don't need to listen to any interviews to know that since Vincent has been here... this goes back to year 1 of their return... the pp has been awful. Listen to some softball fluff interview? Why. The evidence has been 5 6 years of garbage

Sign him now and get him to learn the systems. He doesn't have to play a game unless they feel he is ready. If he shows in practice he is... play him and burn the year cuz like someone said in the big picture it means nothing

A step back is fine but a 30th ranked PP and a bottom 5 PK needs to be addressed for sure this off season. Either change the systems you use on the pp and pk or fire the assistants. I believe Vincent is a guy that could be sent packing.

Teams do not respect our LHD at all tho. Every dump in was to the left side... especially when stu and melchiori were on the ice. 2 guys who are 2 slow to get the puck and turn and make a pass. I don't get the melchiori stuff. He's struggled. He looked ok the last game cuz LA is kind of slow... they really are but against quicker teams guys like stu and melchiori really struggle

Depends what you are basing it on... just cuz he scored a goal doesn't mean he had a good game. Thought ESW was ok but not great.... thought the entire teams effort level just wasn't there. Petan looked good. Copp had a solid game. Dano was fine. The rest? Including ESW was more bad than good. That's fine tho. Jets were dominated in terms of puck possession this game. Buffalo owned the puck. Corsi stats show that. Eye test shows the samE. Ehlers didn't suck... but he didn't really have a good game either.

Everyone sucked except for Petan who I thought had another good game. Cherry picking injury stats is fun but doesn't change the fact that every season but 1 bogo has missed significant time.

Keep our 2nd and just take whoever is available with those picks. There isn't really anyone worth trading up for besides the top 4 guys who we have a shot at getting one of them as is.

I'll say this. Last year... 3 LHD also. Hanifin Provorov and Werenski. Those 3 are better than Chychrun Sergachev Juolevi. Bottom line is that these 3 d men aren't really that different and their ceilings are similar Hanifin Provorov and Werenski have legit top pair potential. Not convinced that Chychrun Sergachev Juolevi do.

Weird cuz when you create your future fantasy rosters.. you have guys like Niku and Kostalek on it yet they were taken much later in the drafts. Like 5th 6th rounders stuff. There chance of making it must be tiny but they show up in your predict the roster 2 yrs from now stuff. Why would you trade up to get 1 who could be a huge bust when you could take 2 d men, sure they might be busts also but you know what... Matthews might be also. Who really knows what any of these guys turn our to be.
