I said he was ok. What more do you want? He didn't win this game by himself..he made 1 nice fluke save. Hell Pavelec himself called it Luck. He let in 3 goals against a coyotes team who has scored 3 goals in a game twice now in January. He wasn't the difference. You seem to be blinded by media reports such as "pavelec near perfect in his return". Cuz he certainly wasn't. He was good enough after allowing a goal on the first shot of the game. The team in front of him also dominated for 45 50 minutes tho. Something that they didn't do the last 4 games. This game should prove to people that while goaltending is an issue.... (it still is btw) that it is just 1 of many plaguing this team. Let's see this effort next game. I somehow doubt we see that tho cuz st louis doesn't suck like Arizona does Let's just... they scored 6 tonight. The last 3 games combined... 7. Don't think scoring goals makes a difference? It's pretty tough for anyone to say we won cuz of Pavs when 95 percent of the game was played in Arizona end of the rink

Ehlers was demoted because of poor play according to Maurice. There's that veteran accountability oh wait... Until Maurice starts holding all players accountable..this team goes nowhere. His post game interview was seriously nauseating and so very troubling

I suppose so. But 6 goals for makes doing your job easier also Jets were much better defensively this game than the last 4. 27 of those 32 shots were pretty routine straight forward saves.

The 3 stars are irrelevant. Pavelec was just ok. He didn't play that great. He wasn't awful but he wasn't good either. 29 of 32 apparently. 906 save percentage. To put that in to perspective helle has a 907 save percentage skewed by 2 pulls.

I'll gladly eat some crow if they can do this against a team who isn't 2nd last overall and doesn't have Burmi as their number 1 center . To say Pav was the reason we won is a slap in the face to the team in front of him who dominated

I'd say so. Scheif still has some upside to his game. He hasn't reached his prime. I'd say a player in their prime is a vet.

Fans for the most part wanted to go younger also. The youth isn't the problem... some of the underperforming vets like stafford and Perreault in particular and even Toby and to a lesser extent Buff have been struggling quite consistently this year
