I don't think Rollins is irresponsible at all, the guy is a pro, he's legit... been wrestling for years... has a reputation of being a very good worker.. I just think at times, sometimes things happen, you have no control over them... it is what it is, Sting is 56 and probably shouldn't be taking certain types of bumps. Rollins ain't at fault at all, it's just it happens. You go back in time and look at some of the injuries that have happened to guys in the ring, Droz got paralyzed on a running power bomb by Dlo Brown, never once blamed DLO at all I guess, what it comes down too, is it takes 2 to make it work... and i thought Sting injured himself more when he was put through the table.

The TSN guys also push guys like Walker and Grigsby as being these amazing running backs... so for real, i wouldn't really take what the TSN guys say so seriously. It's almost at the point where if the TSN guys are praising someone, it means that guy isn't very good. I didn't really hear the TSN guys praising Smith so much, just one and he's a rider prider. I don't know if he was progressing or not but i do know that there have been tons of QB's like smith in this league who have come and gone over the years.

Nah, they really do mean very little to the majority of the players, yeah to 3 or 4 guys it means a spot on the team or not, to those guys it's important but to the guys who know they will be on the game 1 roster, it just a way to get off some rust.... Pav even said that he doesn't get excited to play these games cuz they mean nothing. Sure to guys like Ehlers,Petan,Morrissey,Armia,Lemieux,Copp they mean something but to the rest... not so much. I don't think 1 bad game and your dreams of making the Jets could be over applies here really, Maurice even said after the game he hasn't formed an opinion on any of the young guys yet really.. It's just 1 game man, a game that means very very little to most guys on the roster. Don't get me wrong, I'll watch the game tonight just like i did last night but... at the same time, unlike a regular season or playoff game, it doesn't really matter to me if i miss 5 or 10 minutes of it.

Agreed that with Willy we are a better team. Gonna add tho, I think getting rid of MB and his schemes would be a very good step in the right direction. Give Willy an OC who doesn't suck and who doesn't leave him back there to get killed and you will see a huge difference. I don't think our OLINE is as awful as they are made out to be, I think a lot of that is on the OC. Stanley Bryant hasn't been awful but he hasn't been great either, it's not like the guy just forgot to play football, it's the blocking schemes that are making him look average. He's a damn good player, an all star in this league for years, he comes here and he looks kind of not as good.. Is that on Bryant or is it on the OC? You look at the OLINE last year and people thought ok January sucked,Morley sucked, Greaves sucked... well all 3 are now gone but the OLINE still isn't that great... I don't think it's on the players as much as it is on the schemes they are being asked to run by the OC. Fire MB and this team is better. They do have some holes but the biggest is that A Hole MB.

I don't know about that exactly. Game 1 of pre-season means very little... as does game 2 3 4 really... maybe even 5. Games 6 and 7 you might start to see what the roster will actually look like.

It's in the cba. Something about if you play on the road you get a travel day and a day off. Not sure exactly but it's similar to that. So Monday be travel. Tuesday be day off.

Thorburn looked awful. Playing those 2 plugs with petan is a crime to nic. Would love to see what petan could do with skilled players

Thoughts from me Scheif Ehlers Petan Lemieux all looked pretty good. Give Petan line mates other than 2 scrubs and this game ends in regulation. Not sure I liked the Perreault Burmi Ehlers line.... lots of skill but maybe too fancy. Ehlers looked legit tho. Pav was solid but his positioning is still a problem. Helle was solid. Like lundquist really.. big and positionaly strong. 3 on 3 was crazy. I'd have put petan and ehlers out there together just once. Not surprised stafford was on the ice for the goal. Really annoys me that a guy like thorburn is gonna take a spot away from one or 2 of petan armia and Lemieux. Raffl looked ok but basically it was cuz petan made him look good. 29 is pretty old.

X rays or something else must have revealed something a little more serious then. Don't like the after the game questions on injuries, they really don't know until the x ray or mri or whatever is done.

Theres a section of knowledgeable fans for sure, but then theres a whole lot of morons too. The people who post on the message boards, we are the minority... It's pretty simple to see too. Go check out twitter and some of the posts by fans of the team, they aren't that knowledgeable at all, some want LAPO to be the new GM of the team, some are still blaming the release of clint Kent as the reason we aren't good... It's not just 1 or 2 people either, it's lots, lots, more than the amount of people who post on these sites thats for sure. You look at these sites and the same ones who post here, post on the other site and vice versa, it's the same group, but... man, there are way more morons than there are knowledgeable fans in this city, that goes for the Jets too. The people on these message boards are the minority... big time. Hell read some posts and topics on this site and you will see the same thing really..

I'd say with Drew Willy we are 6-6 at worst so he's not wrong. Not sure why some of you expect him to say they are worse than their record, I mean who the heck says that.. Starting RB INJURED... Starting QB injured... yeah, the team is better than their current record. Theres no doubt about it.. They aren't like 10-4 or 9-5 better but they are at least .500 if Willy was still healthy, probably better. Don't think some of you really realize how important Drew Willy is to this team, he's what makes the O work... he's the guy, he's done for now tho so yeah, we aren't gonna be as good without him. Cotton is a loss but losing your starting QB, man that's the end of your season really. Look at Sask, Montreal for that matter, BC now... every team outside of Edmonton who has lost their starting QB to injury THIS SEASON, so that doesn't include the argos, isn't good. Look what happens to Hamilton in the coming weeks, when you lose your best player and your teams MOP... yeah, you aren't gonna be as good.
