Ppl pretending our O was responsible for our 7 2 record is mind boggling. We legit avg like 300 yards of O a game. Streveler isnt replacing Matty D who would throw for 300 plus weekly.. Hes replacing Matty N who throws closer to 200 a game. We are the most unorthodox 7 2 Team in CFL history... The CFL where ppl routinely throw for 300 plus yards... 1936 yards put up by Nichols.. Zero receivers in the top 10.. Im optimistic that Strev might put up some deep passes to a guy like Matthews who im sure is more than ok with that. Guys a legit weapon and is barely being used.

Nichols major problem is self inflicted injuries. His last 2.. Both were his own doing.. The one where he hurt himself last year in practice and this recent one.. Where he just held on to the ball 2 damn long.. Tough as Hell... Injury prone tho

Heres my take.. Our O leads the league or close to in 2 and outs.. Def last in passing yards per game and likely last in total O yards a game.. Its not like Strev is being asked to put up 500 yards a game.. Heck 300 is likely what we average.. The sky isnt falling here people.. Get the ball to lucky and Harris and grant and quick passing game and maybe our O improves.. Cuz.. Yes 7 and 2 but 5 or 6 of that in reality is D and sp teams.. Strev can checkdown also.. But he also adds a running threat. Time to see if Lapo can design an O for Strevs strengths. Running.. Short passes.. Kids young so likely a few more deep shots. Let's see what they can do. Id imagine if bombers contacted Glenn its 6 weeks to season. Bombers aren't winning games cuz of the O tho so.. Yeah. Harris still ok?

If lapo isnt trying to get fired.. A very good run heavy O with Strev Harris Lucky Grant even can cause some big problems for other teams. Lets be honest.. Our O isn't lighting it up.. We are truly winning based on D and Sp Teams. If Strev can limit the mistakes we will be ok. 300 yards of 0 a game. 7 and 2. Its unheard of.
