I think you could call holding on every offensive play for the Riders, and illegal contact on a receiver on every defensive play. The Riders are the worst team I've seen this year for cheating, but they get away with it so why not. That's because they do it so well that officials can't see it, or don't know where to look. Hence the pick six. Subtle grab from Harris on Green that wasn't caught in real time, yet it is obvious on replay. Seattle Seahawks do it in the NFL, and the league taught the officials in the offseason what to look for.

If Garcia can turn that sad sack group of QB's into actual winning QB's then he's worth his weight in gold. I think he can preach limiting turnovers and managing the game, since they have a fine rushing game when they use it. But that's about all those QB's are probably worth.

Garcia strikes me strictly as a position coach, or camp guy, where he can influence one on one. Something like what he is doing now. Can't see him ever wanting to or becoming a coordinator or head coach.

Garcia works out with the QB's as his coaching method, but to give him a locker is still pretty weird.

As far as the game against Sask, the Riders are struggling on offence, and despite the mass amounts of points they have given up, the Alouettes have a pretty solid defence. Could be a low scoring game if the Alouettes don't turn the ball over, which seems unlikely. I think Garcia can coach up Brink better than he can with Smith, or Marsh. Perhaps why they're turning to Brink in that regard as well.

I'd say they are well past anything that was wrong with the Bombers last season.
