Any type of delay in Willy's decision making process (he's slow as it is) could lead to confusion and hinder his reads...I think it would be a disaster with this qb., and if mix-ups like we seen with him and Darvin Adams were concerning last game....wait, it could be disaster in the making.

If we don't look like a playoff contender late season, O'Shea can start packing his bags..We've given him enough time to put a winner together (AND BY WINNER I MEAN AT LEAST A PLAY-OFF SPOT) and IF that doesn't transpire....adios Mike O by seasons end....Bomber management will be perusing the names for head coach for 2017 at that time...O'Shea still has time to turn things around.... BUT right now it ain't looking too good.

James was golfing on that very course in Qualicum not too long ago...He probably still chips those errant balls back on to the fairway...lol...Andrew Harris played for the Vancouver Island Raiders, in Nanaimo, not too far down the road from where Gerry lives, and he said once that James is the guy he wants to emulate...Andrew picked one heckuva guy to copy...

Gerry James was a winner....and one helluva athlete...He was a big part of the Bud Grant era when we actually had a powerhouse of a team that lasted for years...I have not seen that here since and it's too bad the younger fans of today haven't experienced that type of team, then they'd realize what we really had....James deserves all of the accolades they can bestow upon him ...James and Grant are synonymous as far as former Bombers go....Well deserved.

It looks like what a lot of people in Sask. feared...Durant on the sidelines....As far as feeling sorry for them...Sorry can't muster anything up for them considering our situation BUT even though we look like crap at the moment in the qb.dept....at least we're healthy.

Sask. looks like they have lost Durant again.....and we think we're in trouble...Also no-knees Bagg lighting it up...makes you wonder what the hell is wrong with our receivers when Durant and him were making it look easy.... Just maybe it's our qb.

When have we really released a quarterback that has come back to 'haunt us'....Other than 'suitcase' Glenn, I can't think of one...As far as I know there hasn't been a quarterback released that shouldn't have been...The only quarterback of late that I hated to part with was Buck and that was because of injury AND he is still with us ,granted in another capacity...Jyles,Brink,Goltz, Max Hall, Joey Elliott, and because of injury Marve have all ceased to be Bomber qbs. because they were NOT successful...I don't know for sure whether Willy is going to fit the category of 'also ran' but I think we're about to find out soon...It looks like he's lost what we thought he had and I don't want to continue down a dead-end road forever to find out...This franchise needs to see success sooner rather than later..Willy's overall success, especially of late, is not pointing towards the franchise quarterback we've been searching for...If he comes up with an underwhelming performance next game .. it's on to 'NEXT'....whether it be on our current roster or possibly 'other'...Fans of this club are beyond being patient and deserve better...The brain trust better get on it.

Certainly Burris would be a short term solution....BUT any kind of 'term' is better than what we are headed for ,if this keeps up...We need help NOW and Willy is not getting it done...What would it take to get him here???Seeing as we are going down in flames if something 'credible' isn't done...the price we might have to pay would cost... However,Henry would be a great teacher and Nichols,Davis would certainly benefit from his presence..It would be a great way for Burris to eventually leave the game he obviously luvs, imparting his skills and knowledge to an up and comer in the league, and on our roster.??? Maybe that's what's been missing for a long time on this club???

For sure all of that.......and like Mike I'm wondering what it would take to get Franklin here???? Of the three that were available at the time we signed Willy, he was last on my 'get him list'...Collaros was my first choice (if it weren't for the bad injury he'd be leading the league and is up there with the top qbs.) Burris was my second choice, at that time....Willy was a back up in Sask. that looked like a real good back-up and apparently he still is...We hitched our wagon once again to mediocrity and are now realizing the result....Buggah...

This team keeps sputtering along in mediocrity....something is going to give as the house will be empty in short order...Just not good enough for a team with a long record of futility.

Definitely Willy can't make the long throws...His short game seems to fall apart at times as well...He's a qb. that looks like he has lost whatever he had and it's time for a change...Cripes we might as well trade for Burris and get someone in here who can deliver...cuz when the chips are down it seems Willy can't.

Well IF we don't pull it off tonight, I hope we can at least put in a super effort...I believe this game is winnable and IF we can put Reilly off his game ...who knows....What a great confidence builder if we can walk away with the 2 pts. and will bode very well for the rest of this tough, initial part of the season...Go get em BIGBLUE.

You have to bird-dog Bowman and pressure Reilly so they don't pick us apart....Keep a tight rein on White and hope our D in general kicks it up a notch...then we have a chance...Dress and Ryan have to come up big and I wouldn't expect much else but 'solid' from Harris on the offensive side of the ball...Throw in a few wrinkles involving Jace Davis and Adams and we could upset this club coming in here on a 4 day turnaround ..We shall see...Wouldn't that be nice to put two wins together in this tough stretch and a great confidence builder..

How does a player catch a ball that was thrown to a spot on his hip....not see it coming, squeeze it, tumble into the end zone secured in his hand(s) All of this without 'really' seeing it........bloody amazing....Sask. does not know what kind of receiver they let go....Velcro -man with pure instinct is all I can say...just put the ball anywhere near him and it'll stick... I think Willy is really liking this guy and a few other people....Ryan Smith you be the man.
