Demski in a contract year will probably cost them at least $200k to retain, and that's with the hometown discount built in. -
2022 CFL Season - Back 2 Back Champs News
Fatty Liver replied to JCon's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
Agreed those times have past, traditional rivalries can be played out during the season but for the championship it should be the two best teams going head-to-head to make the event more exciting and worth watching for all fans. The CFL is so small it would be an easy transition and the league needs to do everything it can to spark more fan interest. -

Yep, they'll probably try to spread the awards around a bit to spur fan interest in the event, Bombers have a lock on three if you include top coach, and Stanley might have a shot at MOL but they'll probably give it to a Stamp. -

Prukop has looked good in his limited role but I think Dru Brown is better equipped upstairs when it comes to utilizing the full playbook and understanding the game. Prukop can hang around next year if he likes, or not, but the Rider starting job beckons with stellar enticements such as this. https://www.riderville.com/2022/10/07/week-18-trailer-we-all-we-got-we-all-we-need/ WE ALL WE GOT, WE ALL WE NEED Dan Clark would make an excellent waterbed. -

Interesting that Tre Ford has recovered from his injuries and was listed as the backup QB last night but wasn't given a sniff of playing time. I guess Jones intends to roll with Cornelius for the remainder of the season and let them battle it out for the starting job in TC next year. -

Zach basically acknowledge this in his post-game interview, said it's a unique situation as with a lot of teams set plays are handed to the QB's and no input or dialogue is encouraged. https://www.bluebombers.com/2022/10/08/zach-collaros-game-day-2/ -

Their attendance next year is going to crater, this seasons numbers were based on tickets previously sold, there was barely 20k attending most of their home games. -

I wouldn't be at all surprised if either or both are starters at their positions next season, with retirements, attrition and defections sure enough there will be changes in the secondary next year. -

I doubt it, some cake-sniffer is still going to offer him at least $250k in F.A. and that's too much to pay a single target when the job can be better executed by a committee of very good receivers like they've assembled in Wpg.. Have to pay Desmki more next year as well. -

Nothing average about MBT, he's a deviation of the norm. -

He has a really hard time believing the Stamps are no longer ruling the league, he still believes they're a better team than the Bombers. -

That is a shocking revelation of the truth coming from O'Shea, and yet he sits on the 1 game IR 4 weeks after he was injured. -

He's also one of the few pickups they could have made league wide that already knows the system and can be ready to play in 3 days. -

I actually hope he doesn't, I want to see what these new DE's can bring before the end of the season, Jeffcoat has nothing to prove and needs to recover fully before the playoffs begin. -

Lucky day for Darby, he just found a swack of playoff money in his old jeans. Steep price to pay for the Bombers after Wilcots put in his best performance of the season against the Riders, but maybe he knew he was being showcased, and maybe he knew someone else was lined up to take his spot next week. -
Love Chuck, but I got to see Barry Sanders play 10 home games the year he won his Heisman, so I'll vote for him.

He was 5'-6" 170 lbs, returned punts and kickoffs, took a beating every game and never missed a game in 7 seasons with the Bombers.....and this is what you remember??? How about this stuff.
