  1. My comment was regarding the D-line as a whole not just DT, multiple problems appeared last year that have yet to be addressed. Kwaku Boateng could have been a good edition, he would have replaced Kongbo and is also good enough to step in for Jeffcoat, if he ends up on the 6-game injury list again.
  2. Good business practice is spending money where you need to, not where you want to. With Schoen coming back signing Lawler was a luxury attained at the cost of losing Bailey. As of now, they have Rickie Walker and the return of Hansen they can bank on, everything else you mentioned is speculative.
  3. Walters blew his wad on a wide receiver which really wasn't an area of dire concern, while obvious deficiencies along the D-line remain unaddressed and in fact have gotten worse with the loss of Sayles. Still time enough to shore up the D-line before the season begins, but leaving as is and expecting Ricky Walker to match Sayles performance sounds like a plan that will likely produce worse results.
  4. It could be a difficult problem to solve with no money to do so, looks like any improvement may come down to prospects brought to camp. I'm not convinced Ricky Walker can fill Sayles shoes.
  5. Agudosi is coming dirt cheap, I believe Bailey was already in the range of $140k and wanting more. As Walters said yesterday, with the money they paid Lawler it was going to be hard to sign Bailey.
  6. I'm mad they removed the perforated line from the middle of the box, you can no longer use the box as a bowl. Don't see many homeless people carrying around bowls!
  7. Sorry, read it somewhere but can't find anything confirming it either, it was a crazy day.
  8. He could get cut and be back with the Bombers in time for TC. Walters clarified today that they're looking for a 3rd down specialist to run special packages like Streveler, not a developmental QB.
  9. Not worried about any of this, as long as they re-up Walters at the end of the year.
  10. Michael O'Connor is also available, don't think he can extend 3rd down sneaks like Prukop did, but he's a big body like McGuire was and would give them a Natl. QB to work with.
  11. That's too bad, Edwards is a good player but emotionally crazy, wonder where he ends up....
  12. The increased lack of civility in our country bothers me more than whichever side is pushing this agenda, enough already with tolerating the freedom to hate. https://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/governor-general-social-media-comments-closed-online-hate-1.6746892
  13. He may have the infinite patience of the legendary Manase Foketi.
  14. Rhymes should probably consider firing his agent first thing, didn't even get him close to #1 receiver pay on his own team, with Whitehead earning $200K.
  15. That may be the downside, the media is running with these announcements but the CFL and teams are pretty much staying mute. Stamp DE Folarin Orimolade was reportedly signing with Hamilton earlier in the week, he took a detour and signed with the Argos.
  16. Stamps losing some major players this off-season. Toronto Argonauts agree to terms with DE Folarin Orimolade: The Toronto Argonauts have agreed to terms with defensive end Folarin Orimolade, per sources. The 27-year-old pass rusher had a breakout season with the Calgary Stampeders in 2022,… https://3downnation.com/2023/02/09/toronto-argonauts-agree-to-terms-with-de-folarin-orimolade/?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter… via @JDunk12
  17. Awkward, Smith dreading the touch. LOL
  18. Bacharach wrote hundreds of songs and made millions from publishing rights and sheet music sales, his collaboration with Dionne Warwick was just one chapter of his successful music career.
  19. He's available but no reason he should come cheap.
  20. I expect Dane Evans to have a long CFL career, somewhat resembling what Trevor Harris has achieved.
  21. Too bad they couldn't have sorted this out earlier, by the end of F.A. the Als roster will be left in tatters.
  22. Work to be done, if they roll with the leftovers from last year, they will be worse off this year. The D-line needs an influx of talent inside and on the end.
  23. I've never seen this Als logo before, and why is it Argo blue?
  24. Are those actual wood benches from old Mosaic Stadium? Pretty slivery looking....
