  1. That is exactly the way I saw things as well. A penalty, a key injury, and a run back. And it just did not stop after that. Hammy looked good. The missed FG came before that. That was an omen. Speaching of omens....what the hells the matter with Lirim? Time to bring that big butted b*stard back from the Rifles to scare the **** outta him.

  3. It's extremely disturbing how often the Bombers lay eggs in front of their hometown fans, it must drive Wade Miller crazy trying to fill IGF.
  4. I'm just hoping the Als O can't put up more than 14 points.
  5. Totally agree. What the **** were the refs looking at? There should be a suspension and fine. The ref should also be fined for missing the call. The coach should be giving permission to the oline to go after any player that cheap shots our qb. Time to start sending a message to other teams that this **** won't go unpunished. Absolutely unbelievable that there was no penalty called on that play. What part of protecting the QB do the refs. not understand?
  6. I think Brohm has a decent arm but he needs to be planted to throw properly. There were so many break downs on rush defence tonight that there was no chance that was going to happen. Marve could have at least accomplished more in that game situation and O'Shea has to learn to recognize that. The goal is to win and entertain the fans and tonight they failed miserably on both accounts. Thank God they play Montreal next week.
  7. The replies are hilarious.
  8. Ah yes, the Ratso Rizzo of CFL forums scurries about looking for affection and feasts on a crumb of tolerance provided by the Rider faithful.
  9. If Holley keeps up his play... I'm not sure Grigsby gets back in even when he is healthy... Grigsby is about 4th in line when health returns to the Ti-Cat lineup, he's also got Madu and Gable to contend with. Good for him for hanging on for so long though.
  10. The war has begun. http://www.cbc.ca/news/technology/robot-kills-autoworker-at-volkswagen-plant-1.3135544
  11. Neufeld may not be aware of it, but that ship seems to have already sailed. Chung did not look out of place on the O-line last week. If he continues to play like he did against the Mustache Riders, he's gotta stay there and keep getting more experience. Man he's going to be a beauty if he can stay healthy. I'm looking forward this week to seeing more replays of Picard punching defence-less D-lineman in the ribs while being screened from the ref, and watching them go ballistic as Marshall and Cotton barrel right by them. Highlight of the week! I only wish we could hear the audio from that exchange.
  12. In what position? Full-back. Oh, I didn't notice him. Was he wearing Pontbriand's jersey?
  13. O'Shea mentioned that Sears signed with Hammy for less than what the Bombers offered him last season. After his NFL plans fell through he wanted to come back and the Bombers wanted him but he just waited too long to make it happen.
  14. Not sure what that means. You would prefer they were "entrenched" in a communist system? It doesn't matter what system you are entrenched in if your people don't want to pay income taxes, and the government can't be bothered to collect them, or enforce income tax laws. It also doesn't matter what system you are in when your people decide they want everything for nothing, and think they are entitled to it. You are pretty much screwed at that point. Have a look at the Roman Empire at its peak. Why did it fail? Because everyone stopped working for a living, and just had a big party, and they became so soft that they were easy prey for other warring nations that just tore the entire empire apart. If you want some insight into the Greek mind, just look at how other countries have planned for and built infrastructure for the Olympics. They always build with a future plan to use the infrastructure, or move it somewhere else. They have a plan. Greece didn't have a plan for their 2004 Olypmics. They just built these massive stadiums with hundreds of millions of borrowed euros, and now they are all just rotting, unused. Typical Greek planning. That's why that country is so screwed. They have become the welfare case of Europe. If you guys don't stop fartin' around with politics in here the moderators are going to banish this thread to the penalty box than we'll never find out who the new running back is going to be!!! Who farted? Political wind, so to speak. Sigh.....penalties will be allotted as follows. KBF:10 minutes for instigating and a game misconduct for re-instigating. Tracker::10 minutes for fighting and a game misconduct for his avatar. Hardcore Blue:Game misconduct for 3rd man in. Stickem:Game misconduct for farting in a public forum.
  15. Whoa buddy....I think this pic. was intended for the ladies on match.com......no?

  17. Here is Chamblin's explanation. Chamblin says the first couple of weeks will be "plug and play" until he finds the mix that will bring the Riders a championship. 12:57 PM - 1 Jul 2015 @robvanstone The stars are aligning over Regina.
  18. On the Coach's show O'Shea said that Kevin Glenn is the hardest QB in the league to sack because he releases the ball so quickly. Might explain why Glenn has had such a long career......that and his instinct to turtle at the appropriate moment.
  19. If you mean half-back by "HB" I would say Toston is the best choice to cover both what Cotton and Marshall can do.
  20. And this from a man who uses George Orwell as his avatar. Very passe'- 1984 is long gone. But one trusts....that intelligence, clarity and articulation are not.... Is dat what da pig sayed?
  21. Not even close..what a terrible comparison I can sort of see the connection, Cauchy also had a brother that played LB and wore number 10........wait a minute....
  22. And this guy: Donk from Crocodile Dundee. Isn't Donk Jacko?
  23. My dream team would include Cronk, Bonk, Vonk and Csonka.
