  1. The Edm./Sask. game will be over before the Stamps/Lions game begins this Saturday, so that may alter the Stamps roster and their interest in winning the game.
  2. 3 out of 4 times that throw ends up being intercepted, so luck was on his side as much as skill. In his post game interview Collaros mentioned that he saw Woli. standing uncovered on the 1 yd. line, which you can briefly see in the replay, still he decided to go for the riskier throw to Darvin in the back of the endzone. It worked out favourably this time.
  3. I don't know what happened to the Esks pass rush, their D-line started off the season like the scourge of the league, but last game against the Riders they only had one sack with the LB's contributing 3 more. Hats off to JSK who led the team with 8 DT's and a sack.
  4. So is Roh actually injured or has he played his last game for Wpg.?
  5. This would be by far the best way to approach the playoffs, but whether they do it or not....I dunno. It depends on the state of Streveler's health with 2 more weeks of recovery and O'Shea's acceptance that having both contribute gives them their best chance of advancing. I don't believe the odds are in their favour of winning a playoff game in Calgary without both QB's participating heavily, if they're lucky enough to face the Riders their chances of success are much better with either QB leading the way as long as they can dominate the trenches.
  6. Be the first to get a Mike Miller jersey.
  7. Is this photo an accurate depiction of height? I've not seen many photos of Brian Pallister, but if Scheer is 6'-4", how tall is Pallister?
  8. I dunno if they would be willing to outbid the Argos for Masoli, Desjardins is kind of cheap, they may end up with Arbuckle instead.
  9. I think the Ti-Cats will choose to stick with the cheaper Evans option over re-signing the more expensive Masoli,. Evans is a more conventional QB that is easier to game plan around and probably easier to protect from injury, thus the more reliable option long-term.
  10. So they shouldn't bother trying to protect them?
  11. Please provide a link where "he said" he is shutting down the oil sands?
  12. Legal tackle but ultimately fatal, I wouldn't be surprised to see the CFL move further in the direction of protecting their QB's after this disastrous season. NFL already has done this with their "no landing on the quarterback" rule change last season, I expect the CFL to do the same for the betterment of the game. I refuse to tune in to watch Logan Kilgore battle Danny O'Brien unless they're in a boxing ring.
  13. O'Shea addressed this yesterday in his press-conference, kind of indicated it was a roster decision and that Bailey had earned his spot.
  14. Exxon accused of low-balling impact of carbon pricing on oilsands projects. “Exxon in effect … create(d) the illusion that it had fully considered the risks of future climate change regulation and had factored those risks into its business operations … The company was exposed to far greater risk from climate change regulations than investors were led to believe.” The documents allege Exxon lowballed by $30 billion the impact of carbon pricing on 14 Alberta oilsands projects. They claim carbon costs at the Kearl project in northern Alberta were understated by 94 per cent. The documents also allege that low carbon cost estimates falsely extended the economic life of some assets. It claims the life of Imperial Oil’s facility in Cold Lake, Alta., would be 28 years shorter if assigned a true carbon price." https://calgaryherald.com/pmn/news-pmn/canada-news-pmn/oilsands-carbon-liability-at-centre-of-closely-watched-new-york-fraud-lawsuit/wcm/1de785c5-fbde-4745-a007-7a39d2a90502 Funny, if climate change is not a risk why would Big Oil resort to lying and cheating so frequently?
  15. CFL ✔@CFL The @REDBLACKS and entire #CFL family mourn the loss of Ottawa football legend George Brancato at age 88. Details | http://ow.ly/Ldy830pLJwo
  16. Jason is right in there fanning the flames. As long as he can point fingers at Trudeau he doesn't have to take responsibility for being unable to do anything to change the economic downturn Alberta is experiencing. "I asked the premier if he’s concerned his panel could end up moderating separatist rallies. Here’s what he said. "There will be public town halls “for exactly that reason.” “There are two approaches that leaders can take in an environment like this in Alberta today. “One would be to dismiss and ridicule the sentiment of frustration that is palpable. That is the worst mistake possible. That would just, I think, create even more frustration. “The other alternative is to actually listen to people and discuss what they have to say. I think that is the much wiser approach. That’s exactly why we’ll be appointing this panel.” https://calgaryherald.com/opinion/columnists/braid-kenney-wants-to-hear-separatist-anger
  17. No, this group of conservatives is not associated with the name "Torie" and they have nothing much in common with the old Progressive Conservative party. They're the Satanic offspring of Preston Manning's old Reform Party and they share many similar values and motives with the Republican Party.

  19. I dunno about Davis, he had an entire year to impress and basically made nothing of it.

  22. Watching the game highlights tells the tale, can't give BLM that much time in the pocket to find his receivers, he's too damn good. The D failed to pressure Mitchell, can't do that and expect to win.
  23. Roc Carmichael is never the incorrect answer to questions like this.
