  1. I'd go for that, MBT has exceeded low expectations and has proven himself to be a gamer. He's totally unflappable, he's played through a shitshow in T.O. without blinking, just imagine what he could do with a decent offence and protection in front of him. He's the perfect backup and I can't really see Jim Popp moving him but then again, he's the one that decided it was a good idea to pay Collaros $400,000+ to sit on the sidelines sipping lattes all season, so you never know....
  2. In the end it doesn't really matter what fans think, it's unlikely O'Shea would agree it's wise to let Matt walk away. Unless Walters is unable to come to contract terms or he decides to move him for assets and roll with Streveler, I fully expect Nichols back next year. Like him or not, he's the QB that lifted them to the top of the heap.
  3. ...and they've worked pretty well for both the team and Andrew Harris.
  4. Anyone named Hank Williams will do.
  5. The "play McGuire goddamit!" campaign is set to kick off tomorrow night at IGF, arrive early to make sure you get a good seat on the bandwagon.
  6. Doubt it, look around the league Nichols doesn't have to settle for backup money and he probably won't.
  7. I fear that's going to happen alot with Streveler, can't expect him to run rough shod over opponents whenever he likes. Eventually they're going to put a stop to it, whatever whichway they have to do so.
  8. Have to assume both Gray and Roh injuries are for real, I doubt they're getting yanked out because of their play. They've both played well.
  9. Mo Leggett weighs in on secondary issues.
  10. Problem is when another country like China holds much of that debt, it's naive to think they won't eventually want to collect.
  11. "Our league" "Our team" "Our rules" "Don't like it???"
  12. WINNIPEG, MB., September 24, 2019 ? The #Bombers add six as part of their practice-roster expansion, release RB Larry Rose III and DB Chris Humes. Trevor Knight (QB) (6-0, 188, New Hampshire, December 13, 1995, Amherst, NH) was a three-year starter at UNH and finished fifth in school history in career completions (590) and sixth in passing yards (6,345). Meffy Koloamatangi (6-5, 240, University of Hawai?i, June 24, 1995, East Palo Alto, CA) played five games with the BC Lions through June and July of this year, recording three special teams tackles. Koloamatangi was named to the 2017 Polynesian College Football Player of the Year Watch List prior to the start of that season. He finished the year with 31 tackles, 6 tackles-for-loss, and six quarterback hurries. Jawill Davis (6-1, 191, Bethune-Cookman, April 6, 1995, Miami, FL) was claimed off waivers by the Packers on May 7, 2019, playing in one pre-season game before being released on August 10. Prior to that, Davis signed with the New York Giants as a UFA after going unselected in the 2018 NFL Draft. He finished his rookie season with the Giants with four receptions for 40 yards and 260 total return yards in seven games. David Kenney (6-2, 250, Illinois State, February 6, 1995, Indianapolis, IN) was released from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on August 30, 2019 after signing as a tryout player this past summer after being out of football since 2015. Kenney saw action in seven games in 2015 on the ISU roster and was credited with 11 tackles before being dismissed from the team. Trey Johnson (5-11, 170, Villanova University, September 27, 1994, Lutz, FL) signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers in April 2018 but spent the season on injured reserve with a shoulder injury and was waived from the IR list in January 2019. Johnson then spent time with the Denver Broncos in training camp before being released. Johnson played in all 13 games for Villanova in 2016, recording 33 tackles, seven pass breakups, two interceptions, and a fumble recovery. Jordan Robinson (5-11, 185, Sacramento State, April 28, 1995, Torrance, CA) played four seasons at Sacramento State from 2013-16 and ended his collegiate career with the fourth-most career rushing yards (2,823) in Sacramento State history. Robinson signed with the Edmonton Eskimos in 2018, tallying seven carries for 23 yards and also hauled in five passes for 77 yards and a touchdown. Robinson also added 209 punt return yards and 539 kickoff return yards that year, and played in one game for the Eskimos this season, collecting 131 kickoff return yards and four punt return yards.
  13. Transition is happening right now, I notice a couple of Teslas every day because they're the most recognizable EV, other brands are not as identifiable but they're out there. This is the front edge of the wedge, within 5 years I wouldn't be surprised if around 20-30% of new car sales are electric.....and I'll be one of them.
  14. Hardrick also got turnstiled a couple of times in the 4th Q., I can accept he's not playing at 100% health but his mobility seems to be very limited and he's been off his game for much of this season. He should be sat down until his health recovers, they've got two Import O-linemen sitting on the PR, Rodgers and Williams, it's time to see what they can do.
  15. It's not like V. Adams has a rocket arm, he was throwing up rainbows that the D-backs were easily knocking down and coming close to picking off...until they weren't, then miraculously the Als receivers were getting behind the secondary for big gains. As for Hecht, he never uses his arms when tackling, he launches himself horizontally and usually whiffs or bounces off receivers with no damage done, kind of like a dud skud missile.
  16. What I can't begin to fathom is how an unstoppable running game in the first half completely ceases up in the second half.

  19. Quantify, just how many times has Demski fumbled the ball this year? I'll give you a hint, not half as many times as Harris has.
  20. Thank god we can shirk our responsibilities, I will no longer pay to have my sewage tank pumped out, I live on the side of a mountain that naturally drains down to a lake. Economically I will come out further ahead if I just pipe my **** down the creek bed into the lake, I don't give a **** if my neighbours like it or not, it's all good.
  21. They mostly live in fenced compounds or gated communities with private security forces for protection, so they're well prepared for any catastrophe that may befall the rest of society, it won't effect them much. Lots of islands to flee to.
  22. Trump revokes waiver for California to set higher auto emissions standards, because no one wants cleaner air. Washington (CNN)President Donald Trump announced Wednesday he was revoking California's authority to set its own vehicle emission standards, the latest move in the Trump administration's ongoing fight with the Golden State and attempts to chip away at former President Barack Obama's environmental legacy. "The Trump Administration is revoking California's Federal Waiver on emissions in order to produce far less expensive cars for the consumer, while at the same time making the cars substantially SAFER," Trump tweeted. The President made the announcement while visiting California for fundraisers. He was in his hotel in Los Angeles when he sent the tweets. California's waiver under the Clean Air Act allowed it to set standards tighter than the federal standards, which have been adopted by more than a dozen states and became the de-facto nationwide standard, because automakers do not design different sets of vehicles to meet different standards in different states. The Trump administration has long been at odds with California, especially on environmental issues. Talks between California environmental regulators and the administration broke down earlier this year. Yet this summer, the state negotiated an agreement with several automakers to design cars to meet standards higher than those set by the federal government. https://www.cnn.com/2019/09/18/politics/epa-trump-california/index.html
  23. Sure, it's their vote, what right do I have to tell people who to vote for? Maybe stop looking at the world as if you have the only perspective that is valid.
  24. I like a balanced attack, for a few years after they changed the P.I. rule the running game was almost forgotten about and everybody went pass-happy, the better teams now realize they can't win with out a strong running attack. Credit the Bombers and A.H. for leading the way.
