  1. Give away Byfuglien for nothing and the Jets are a better team. Addition by subtraction. No, you're dead wrong. It doesn't work that way. That's called the Oilers model. I'm not saying Chevy should just give Buff away...his job is to get as many assets as he can for Buff. I'm just saying that if Buff were to just go away and we get nothing in return, the Jets are a better team. I realize what you're saying and I completely disagree. Byfuglien is a liability. It's that simple.

  3. Give away Byfuglien for nothing and the Jets are a better team. Addition by subtraction. Not a popular opinion I know, but it's true.
  4. Don't forget about Armia. I expect him to legitimately compete for a top 9 forward spot with the Jets next season.
  5. I'd argue there's no room for Buff right now. Buff, Trouba and Myers are all RHD who need 27-28 minutes a game to be at their best. Numbers don't add up. Unless Buff is willing to go back to forward and be compensated as a 3rd liner, I'd say he's as good as gone.
  6. Riders Release Five From Roster The Saskatchewan Roughriders announced today the release of the following five players: · International defensive lineman Chancey Aghayere · International offensive lineman Pierce Burton · International linebacker Justin Cole · International quarterback Seth Doege · International defensive back Ryan Steed
  7. Bellefeuille was out of work because he still had term left on his contract where he was getting paid, so he used that time to take a sabbatical and tour NFL camps to learn new offensive philosophies. I'm not arguing with you in that he's "average", but that's why he was out of work, as far as I know it was his choice. In 2012 he was OC for the Omaha Nighthawks, so he was still involved in football and if he had signed a contract with them, then it would seem that he could have been available in the CFL if anyone had really really wanted him. I look at it and say that he missed the start of the 2012 and 2013 seasons and if he was someone in great demand, he wouldn't have been available for us to sign in August of 2013. By working with Omaha he still got his CFL pay. Not the case if he took another CFL job.

  9. Why? Keeping in mind the rankings are meaningless.Because I see OL as the biggest need, and I think Kyle Walters does too.
  10. With our first pick I'm thinking Bombers go Chungh, Groulx or maybe (but unlikely) Waud. I see zero chance Walters takes Demski with the first pick.
  11. He hadn't declared for the draft when the previous rankings were released.
  12. Man, Demski with pick 11 might be a possibility based on those rankings. Either way, we're going to get 3 super talented players.
  13. Wouldn't surprise me if this is true, that Sellinger pushed the flawed design through for political reasons. But SOD does seem to admit the drainage issue is their fault, and that it'll be fixed by insurance. And looks like the crawlspace issue has been resolved between SOD and BBB.
  14. HA!I appreciate anyone who puts training camp reports up, but you sir, give the impression that this is SRS BSNS and get uppity when someone else gets more credit than you do. Definitely comes across as attention and approval seeking. For me it's all about giving credit where credit is due. That's how I am at work and it's very much appreciated by my subordinates, colleagues and my supervisors. It's not about seeking approval or attention. Different environment here I guess... which is seeking approval... how you not grasping that?Uh actually seeking approval and giving credit are two very different things. Either way, this thread is starting to get really stupid, and I've definetely contributed to that. So I'll do my best to stay out of here for a bit
  15. Who were these two posters in a row? Because I wasn't one of them. Actually you were the second one.

That's how I am at work and it's very much appreciated by my subordinates, colleagues and my supervisors. It's not about seeking approval or attention. Different environment here I guess... This isn't supposed to be like work, man. It's supposed to be a bunch of dudes shooting the **** about a football team. It's pretty ironic that I'm sitting here saying this now, because I used to be the same way and I wanted to receive credit for all the perceived "work" I do to try and get a jump on player signings and stuff but after a while, I realized who cares? I'm doing it because I like doing it and there's no reward to be handed out. The fact that I can share it with a group of people who enjoy getting the jump on Bomber news as much as I do is enough for me, it gives us something to talk about and that's what it's all about. You'll learn I suppose but make no mistake, you react the way you do right now because you're in it for the approval and/or attention. There's no such thing as "credit" around here that isn't attention or approval based, you're not writing down all your "scoops" to form a resume. Disclaimer I still hate when the media steals stuff like that from our site / Twitter feed so I'll always ***** about that. Not so much scoops, but ideas. I never have scoops, I just post tweets or links so others have the same info I found. And I get it, that it's different here. Either way, Mike you seem to have life (and the Internet) all figured out, so I'll just leave it at that. It's funny you say you don't care, but in the end you do want the credit.

  18. I'll pay extra to ensure it is someone other than gbillThat's fine. But if I recall, my Bomber TC and practice reports were really appreciated on here last year. I guess those aren't wanted again this season.Yer gonna take your reports and go home, cartman? No not at all, but if they aren't wanted, what's the point in wasting my time writing them? I was under the impression they were appreciated, but based on the comments in here, I guess not. Do it because you enjoy it, not because you want approval from others. FWIW, I enjoy the information you provided last training camp.I most certainly enjoy it and I enjoy passing what I'm seeing onto others who are as passionate about the Bombers as I am. I planned on doing the same again this year. But there were two posters in a row here quite strongly saying they don't like them. I'm definetely not looking for approval from anyone, but if the reports aren't appreciated, needed or whatever, I'll gladly stop.

  21. If you guys pay half my expenses, I'll go.
  22. @Darren_Cameron: #Bombers add five players from weekend mini camp. WRs Gordon, Downs. LBs Wilson and Tate. Running back Carol Anderson. More to come.
  23. Good article from Darrin Bauming: http://www.tsn.ca/storylines-out-of-blue-bombers-mini-camp-1.263471
  24. I know it doesn't help in terms of mini-camp reports, but I'll be taking a week off work again this June so I can attend Bomber training camp. I'll provide daily TC reports on here for the days I attend.
  25. Nice read. I see Bombers going OL in the first round. Speculation is that Morley will be released or traded, but that hasn't happened yet.
