Yep, my bet is the Bombers filed a 2 year contract with the league so Chungh can pursue the NFL after 2 years. If nothing in the NFL, then the 3rd year contract is in the drawer. That gives the player an NFL shot, and ensures he returns to the Bombers if NFL doesn't materialize. That's likely the discrepancy with the two reports.

That's not the only reason. The new rules will hurt a DB like Washington. Plus his salary may not justify his presence with all the younger, cheaper guys in camp.

Heard today the NFL will likely be having their draft later next year, so CFL GMs won't have the same luxury as they did this year, in knowing the status of the majority of the top picks.

I think Normand could be used as a nice deception tool on offense. Line him up as fullback with the scat back, then before the snap the scat back goes wideout and give the ball to Normand to run up the middle. He's a FB who is a legit threat to run on any play, at least based on the video. Plays like that will loosen up the D and open things up on offense.

And he just can't be relied on as a returner. Way too many fumbles. I was trying to forget those fumbles >.< or worse the bobble pass last year that was horrible it was what I felt was what began the slideIt's gotten to the point where the risk isn't worth the reward with him on returns.

My only problem with Mike is his condescending "know it all " approach to others, and how we have a 20 year old kid giving lectures to posters on these forums like he knows it all, and has life all figured out. His approach just rubs me the wrong way, and he's the only person on these forums that stands out like that because of his know it all attitude, and just dismissing other posters ideas. I think I might need to just start doing what you used to do with Mike's posts and just ignore them. And I get it he has his posse on here, who back him no matter what, so I'm going to lose any internet pissing contest, but that's fine with me. I'm here because I love the Bombers and love discussing Bombers, not to make any friends.Any chance of adding an ignore function on this forum? So you're jealous that people like Mike more than you? We started a NI at DB last year too; Matt Bucknor.With more NI DBs on the roster they could choose to use a DI at a different spot. If an American DB goes down they could put Sherman, Newman or Morgan at safety and move Leggett into that spotI really hope we don't start a NI at saftey and move Leggett out of that spot.

Forum does have an ignore function: Go to your profile (where it says your username in the upper right) Click on My Settings Then 'Ignore Preferences' on the left hand side You can manage who you ignore there (add / remove from your ignore list). You can also choose to ignore signatures, posts, messages, etc. The only caveat is you cannot ignore people in the admin and moderator group. Thanks but that doesn't help me now! lol

I agree Richardson, Fitzgerald and West are gone. But I think Peach is one of Oshea's guys, so I think he stays, but in a lesser role, compared to last year.
