There's definite match-up differences both good and bad for the Jets but at EOD shouldn't matter. Ultimate goal: win 16 playoff games to secure championship. First objective: Making Playoffs. Second objective winning first round etc etc. I'm hoping though it's the Wild in the first round because of the rivalry and would be extremely enjoyable to show them the first round exit. I loathe this team almost as much as I loathe the Leafs. Btw, aren't the Oilers another possible first-round match-up?

What doesn’t make sense to me is how can one be a hardcore fan of one team than move to another team? Does not compute.

Like other sports, hockey is a team sport. Anyone paying attention isn't suggesting that Helle is the only reason to date we have come up short in post season. He has played a part though.
